The reception staff are friendly and efficient who do a great job. Doctor Pang is a very caring and thorough optometrist who works very hard to help her patients. All around a great experience.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! Male optometrist gave me a very strong prescription that damaged my eye while working on computer. Female optometrist is better but I feel sorry for her that she works there! CIndy the owner is VERY RUDE! Unprofessional. ALL ABOUT THE MONEY and not your health or great customer service! I had several problems on different occasions here. This is the only place that actually wants to CHARGE ME to get color SAMPLE contacts! Just samples to see how I like them. This place should not be in service and should be closed down! Will report to the owner of the mall as well.

The receptionists are fantastic, especially Dr Pang is tremendous. They all make the visit exceptionally Phenomenal.I can’t wait to get my new glasses

Dr Williamson was very nice to deal with and I appreciated her professionalism. I look forward to returning next month for my eye exam.Emma was also very lovely.

The doctor we went to was amazing! She took her time with each of my girls and gave me all the options with how to proceed. Furthermore, she was all about eye health and not just trying to sell you something.

Manager and staff are very friendly and professional. The doctors next door are great and got my persciption bang on. They even helped me with contacts and picked them up right away. If you have any question about your perscription they are great for answering them and you dont feel rush.

I had a very rude and aggressive experience with the woman who did the pre exam tests before I seen the optometrist. She was very intolerant and even hostile with my questions during my short time with her.Unfortunately for me, this we’ll be the last time I choose to use B.P.E.C. services as I enjoyed Dr Pang very much.

I started coming all the way here from Calgary as I stopped in one day due to an emergency and had such great service I keep coming back. The doctors and staff are all very friendly and the manager Cindi is very informative and was able to answer all my questions. They are always able to direct bill to my insurance so I never have to submit it myself. I would highly recommend this place!

I was in the there for my 4 year old appointment that was booked for 9:30am. I arrived at 9:26am and an senior lady was talking with someone at the reception and when she walked out I open the door and the lady at the reception was very quick and rude to say WE ARE NOT OPEN YET. I said ohh okay I guess I have to wait 4 minutes to tell you we arrived to my the 9:30am appointment. So I waited until 9:30 am I could see 3 stuff members just chatting. So I went in the same lady quick said we are not open yet I said is 9:30 and his appointment is 9:30am. I have been going there since before my kids were born and both of my kids go there also. I was NOT IMPRESSED WAS RUDE THIS LADY WAS.So I told her cancel my son’s appointment. Turned around and went to another eye doctor thankfully there’s a bunch in red deer. Even my 4 year old day mom that lady was so rude. I will never come back just because of the lady attitude

This review is not a reflection of Dr. Kaiyi Pang who is an excellent clinician. This review is a reflection of the unregulated staff that provide the eye examination prior to seeing the optometrist. My experience occurred June 5, 2020. Its taken me a long time to work through the many complaints channels from the Alberta College on Optometrists through to Alberta Association of Optometrists. The business is somehow insulated from any unexpected error complaints that occurs during the eye examination process because the staff performing the pre-optometrist visit exams are off the street trained and work under the supervision of the Optometrist. So the business does not and is not interested in learning from those staff's mistakes or prevent system errors from occurring over and over again. During the test where the staff checks the prescription of the lens my lenses where significantly scratched. When I complained the next day, the office manager was rude and dismissive and told me it was impossible for their machine to scratch my lenses. However lens scratching is a risk and occurs when staff forget to lift the equipment lens holder up before removing the lens. I didn't consent to have my lens prescription read on the machine nor was I told of the scratching risk. Until the business takes complaints seriously and learns from them, lens will continue to be scratched over and over again. As you can see from the pictures the scratches are bad. The office manager needs to take a customer service training course.
