9 Lives Rescue

We adopted our 3 little ones from 9Lives Rescue. They were so wonderful to work with. You can tell that our girls were well loved and solicalzed before they came to us. We are over the moon and highly recommend 9 Lives Rescue.

9 Lives Rescue is important to me because it brought me my first kitty and I'm super grateful for that. The work they do is very important. However, as a foster service, it was lacking. I was so excited to become a foster parent. I had minimal contact and support with 9 Lives Rescue but maybe that was due to the pandemic. I wouldn't hear from them for weeks at a time. I emailed multiple times and never received replies. Texts were intermittent. I'm glad I decided to adopt my kitty instead of continuing to foster. I have no idea how I could've continued as a foster parent with that little communication from the program. I've even expressed my interest in continuing to foster, but I never heard back. I'll definitely foster again in the future, but it will probably be with another program in the area.

Over a year ago, my partner and I adopted our wonderful cat from 9 Lives Rescue. I forgot to post a review, but 9 Lives was wonderful and so helpful. They were honest about his conditions and helped guide us in his further recovery. He is now a healthy, happy cat. We are so grateful to have him and so grateful for 9 Lives! If we were to rescue another cat before leaving this area, we would go through 9 Lives again.

Gotten 2 of my cats from here, always been an easy process and it’s been even easier to connect with their prior owners which has been important to knowing what their adolescence was like.

When we wanted to adopt a second cat, 9 Lives helped us find the perfect match for our home and our family. They take great care of all the cats and support animals that might be turned away by other shelters or agencies. They also tested him for FIV and feline leukemia which is so important if you already have cats at home!

It has been almost a year since we adopted with 9 Lives and we do not regret the experience. Maybe the only thing we regret is not also adopting our girls two baby kittens who were bonded. Janell walked through the pet store with us to help make sure we had all the supplies we would need to get started and didn’t outwardly judge me for crying in the store when I realized the kittens hadn’t been adopted yet but we couldn’t commit to taking all 3. I appreciate the no declawing policy. We will certainly adopt from 9lives again

Nat immediately attended to my cat by having her seen by their vet for a full check up. Unfortunately she had to be put down so Nat was there for her last moments. I am truly grateful to this rescue.

Last evening we discovered a kitten hanging around that didn’t seem well and no Mother cat in the area. Through a connection, I contacted Joelle. Without hesitation, Joelle accepted to take the kitten. The kitten was in worse condition than I thought (skeletal and fly eggs on eyes). Joelle stayed positive and committed to staying up all night to try everything (updated that she was syringing baby food as kitten wouldn’t bottle feed) . I’m very impressed by this organization and so thankful they gave this kitten a fighting chance. They are truly loving their mission through their actions.

Adopted our Indigo in Sept 2021. So impressed by Leslie and her dedication to the mission of 9 Lives. She took time out of her day (on her birthday!) to let me meet the cat I was interested in and when it didn’t seem like the cat would be quite the right fit for our existing crew, she introduced me to another little guy she was fostering who turned out to be just perfect! I never would have found Indigo without her help and I can’t imagine our lives without him. Thanks, 9 Lives, for all you do to help so many cats find their perfect forever homes.

Our son adopted an eight month old kitten from 9 lives well over two years ago....maybe three. Mel has brought our son, Sam so much pleasure, comfort and joy in those years. Alot of rescues hesitate letting a disabled adult adopt, but they did not. They felt that Sam and Mel would make a good pair. They sure are. Mel is spoiled rotten.
