Tonight is the third night of calling into Vianet and getting extremely poor service. Deanna is who answers the phone and is short, rude, and honestly makes you feel like you are interrupting her facebook time. She tells us we will receive a call from Technical support. We ask when. She is disturbed by that question. So she tells us SOME TIME.... Some time.... what does that even mean. We live where our cell service is terrible not, far from town and have kids that need the phone to reach us at work. This does not seem to matter because Deanna is way under qualified to even give us any support at all. Now we get a call from the service tech. He says it is probably our internet provider...... nope its not i am writing this review on my computer... so he says un-plug the unit and wait plug it back in. Nope that does not work. These are things anyone does. They have no idea why our services are not working and do not want to send someone out to fix them. What is the problem here? Anyways I am still waiting for the call back for the third time and had to get this out there to the people. Do not use Vianet.

Stay away constant bullying from customer service. They terrorize you and the internet never works constantly cuts out and when you ask to cancel or leave they threaten you and tell you how everyone loves them and that your making a mistake

On Sunday, I sent a message through Vianet’s website basically saying “my internet sucks!” Jeff got back to me the same day advising me to call Customer Service on Monday.I called today for tech support, had a lovely chat with Jason who forwarded me to Helena in Customer Service about changing my plan and reducing my cost. Just got off the phone with Greg, a manager who will be helping me get things right.All lovely, helpful people who appeared to feel my pain and be prepared to do everything possible to fix the situation. The whole experience was one of good customer service.I would highly recommend Vianet!

there has been nothing good out of what we have from this internet, we live in a rural area, but they don't help us in the slightest, if we say the internets out, the best they can do is tell us to restart the router. its never their fault, because we are a company and you aren't" don't buy

STAY AWAY!!!! The service is beyond lousy and the customer support is even worse. We woke up to no internet three days ago ... and after the first tech promised to call back we’ve heard nothing. Three days later and still no service.This past summer was pretty similar to this. I’ve decided to stop wasting my money and switch to a service provider who will actually supply some internet!

The quality of the internet that Vianet provides is BEYOND LOUSY!!! I called to let them know I had trouble with it and they told me that all my neighbours were also complaining of constant hanging and maybe there was something wrong with my tower. Three months later they still haven’t looked into it. It’s actually managing to get worse and worse and at this point it can’t stay connected for more than 30 seconds so it is entirely not useable. Their customer service is even worse than the internet. They don’t return calls or follow up even when they promised they would. I AM CANCELLING MY SERVICE if this doesn’t get fixed NOW and I would recommend anyone not already with them stays FAR AWAY!!!

I just wanted to take a moment to share what great service we have received from vianet. Having recently moved to muskoka, the installation of our internet was done in a timely manner. The gentleman who came was professional, tidy and friendly. And then, when we needed a repair, due to our own clumsiness, they came quickly and had us up and running in no time. I highly recommend Vianet Huntsville to anyone looking for great internet service.

I have had nothing but Great experience with the staff at Vianet.My biggest problem is with Bell. Their lines are old and apparently break 3-4 times a year.As to technical support I'd say perfect.They have helps us with the fight with Bell and seem to care about our service. So thanks Vianet.ca staff

Our internet went out on June 17th, it took 5 days to to get a straight answer and now someone is coming on the 2nd to hopefully fix it...edit.. today is July 2nd. We were told that we would get a call from someone today between 8 am and 5 PM. We recieved no such call. Was told a bunch of lies that they came and no one was home and tried to call but the voicemail box was full, all lies. And now we have to wait for someone to come have a look next Monday on July 8th. Absolutly ridiculous.

Paying for the 20mb package and it maxes out at 500kb. They are advertising services they cannot provide. Internet has gone out for 2+ hours for the past few nights. No point in calling because you're just going to be told they can't do anything about it. Can I give less than 1 star?
