- Lived here about a month now and love it, all the staff is so kind and friendly. Great location and very safe and welcoming! Would 100% recommend to students or young adults!

AVANT, where do I get started… It has been my first home in toronto for 2 years and the place where I met some of my friends I still talk to. The rooms are nice and spacious and the maintenance is very prompt with their work. Maybe if you get lucky, you’ll be blessed with one of the best CN TOWER views in the city :)Thank you Amanda and Peter for a wonderful time here. They were very understanding with my needs.

It’s been great living here at Avant so far! Tanyura, Amanda, Peter, Thais, and Miguel really go out of their way to make us feel welcomed and heard. They make sure to hear our opinions and thoughts on how to make our living better.In the past couple months, the managers have hosted countless events for us to get to know each other (i.e. brunches, outings, meet and greet, halloween party), which I think is above and beyond.The amenities are great. Building comes with a study lounge, cafe lounge, game room, and gym. These rooms are almost always clean and rarely crowded. The study lounge is almost always empty.Also, the location is perfect for Ryerson students. Avant is steps away and I can literally see Kerr Hall from my window! The rooms are also a lot bigger than I expected compared to the residence buildings on campus.Only thing I would suggest is getting a dehumidifier during the summer because the rooms tend to get stuffy. Also, the heaters could be improved (always having to wear a sweatshirt at night).Overall, I would recommend this place to students.

I had a great time at Avant! The management is great and for my first year in Toronto and at school, this was perfect. Central to everything, clean, welcoming. I would highly recommend!

i am so grateful for my time at avant. it is the perfect place to be if you are new to canada or toronto, and looking to make new friends! i met almost all of my closest friends through the building. lots of food and essential stores close + and just down the street from church street clubs which makes for a safe and quick way back from a night out (definitely right where you want to be in June for Pride). i signed a lease with my best friend and we completely shared the space. because of this we were able to have a common area and have space for shakira the cat comfortably. i definitely recommend the 2 bed room with a den! when using the space well it is luxury student living. the units are pretty sound proof, and there are all the amenities students could want! the courtyard is well taken care of and such a sweet and easy way to get some fresh air. it is the perfect space to learn the skills you need to live alone for the first time, and a friendly introduction to renting in Toronto. Miguel in maintenance is always friendly and efficient! Amanda does a great job at leading monthly resident events that make it super easy and fun to meet people and sight see! the prices are high but if you can afford the costs it is so worth it! thank you to the avant for helping me find home in the city!

I have loved my time living at Avant !With the newly renovated apartments, the space is inviting and with the prime downtown location is accessible to nearly everything.The community aspect has been an amazing transition to living on my own on the city. I have connected with many like minded students and been able to create lasting friendships with people in this building.Peter, Amanda, Tanyura and Michael have gone above and beyond for the residence and continue to wow me with events and the personal connection they make with their residents.

Living in Avant was such an amazing experience. The staff here are extremely helpful, and the amenities in this building are amazing. One of the best things about Avant is that the staff always host events to keep the residents entertained. The location is great - close to many schools, restaurants, and cafes.

Avant is a great option for students looking to live near campus. Very easy process, nice clean apartments, so many events + common spaces and the staff are so kind - especially Amanda !! Also location is perfect.

I recently had the pleasure of interacting with Avant Living, and I must say that my experience was truly enjoyable. From start to finish, the level of service I received was exceptional. I would like to highlight two individuals, Brittany and Amanda, who played a significant role in making my experience outstanding.Brittany and Amanda, were exceptionally friendly, accommodating, and attentive throughout my interaction with them. Their positive attitudes and willingness to assist me were truly refreshing. Not only were Brittany and Amanda friendly, but they also demonstrated a high level of professionalism. They were knowledgeable about the company's services, and they took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. They went above and beyond to ensure that I had a clear understanding of everything I needed to know.

I recently lived in Avant for 10 months and overall, I had a positive experience. The apartment was spacious and management was always helpful and friendly. Any maintenance problems were always fixed promptly. The location of the apartment was also great, would recommend for students and professionals.
