Yves was very knowledgeable and informative on all products. Respected any of the client choices whether wood stove, natural or gas.Provided a quick estimate of price and install time. Pointed out all pros and cons of each system.If it's minus 30 outside, this is the place to be to spend a half hour or so. Nice and clean showroom (and scorching).

They installed our gas fireplace 3-months ago and the fan was faultyThe technician said sorry and will order a new one, that was 3-months ago with no delivery in sight and no communication from Alternatives!I’m not impressed with their after sales

Top notch service and team! I had two gas fireplaces installed - one in our living room and one in our basement. Theresa and her team responded to all of our needs. We love our fireplaces - they provide instant heat and make a world of a difference in our house. We especially love them after a humid wet day. 100% recommend Alternatives.

We bought a Napoleon electric fireplace which was picked up July 23, and when we came to test it, a short circuit and fire came out of the right corner. We did not want to install the defective fireplace and brought it back. They have had it since Aug 6 and have done nothing about it. It is strange when we bought it , it took 5 days to deliver it. Most of the time they don't answer their phone or call you back, and have done nothing so far to fulfill the requirements that Napoleon imposed to get a new one.
