We found office clean and welcoming as was the hot chocolate. Alex took us in immediately, even though we were 1/2 hour early. He was extremely professional, helpful and courteous. He answered all our questions plus gave us many tips. He checked and cleaned our machine. We purchased a face mask which was considerably cheaper in price compared to another facility we had visited earlier. We totally and highly recommend this business. They are in the business to help you whereas the other places we visited were in the business to tell you your machine is no good and only want to sell you a new one. Thank you, Alex.

After years of getting masks there (twice per year) at highest amount allowable by my plan (which is double what I can buy the same masks online for), I finally was approved for a new machine. Their quote was more than insurance would cover on maximum allowance and they would not reduce their quote even though I can buy the exact same machine online for $600 less than the insurance allowance AND get credit card points. Was told the manager said they won’t match my insurance allowance and didn’t matter if they lost my business on the machine and future mask business. Terrible decision. So much for being a good loyal customer and trying to support local! I’ll call other local places first then resort to buying online and getting the credit card points. Thanks for nothing.

What an absolutely unpleasant company to do business with. As experts in their field of business I trusted them to guide me through the process of getting a machine and submit the required information to my insurance company. After doing exactly what they asked for they put the responsibility back on me to deal with the insurance company after it was too late to complete this by due date. Had they told me during our initial conversations I would gladly have done so but instead they indicated that they often deal with insurance claims and would drive the process, until it was too late for me to claim. Essentially their unhelpful (and very haughty) attitude cost me a lot of money as I could not claim from my insurance. Find another company to deal with - there are many.

It takes a bit of learning to get comfortable with using the CPAP machine, and Island CPAP was very helpful with their support. Michelle gave great initial instruction, and followed up with regular phone calls giving encouragement and statistics on how the quality of my sleep had improved. Thank you for the help! Now I'm not feeling constantly sleep deprived! Yay!

Very pleased with the efficient and friendly service. Michelle is an excellent teacher and mentor. As I struggled using my machine, I never felt judged. Michelle had ideas for getting used to the machine, encouragement to keep using the machine and affirmation when I succeeded. CPAP is very fortunate to have Michelle on staff.

I was recently diagnosed with sleep apnea and was referred to Island CPAP in Nanaimo. Mike was helpful in setting up my machine and calling me at a time that was convenient for me at work. After only 8 weeks I am still amazed at how rested I feel. I found it easy to adjust to the headgear and it has just become a regular part of my daily routine!!

We were referred by a friend from work , she said they are so helpful and work with you through all situations. I can’t say enough about how they have all went out of their way to help us in all our needs . They take time to phone you every few days to see how things are going for you and to encourage and answer questions , so nice that you are assigned one person so that they are familiar with your history . When it came time to purchase the machine they went above and beyond to make it work financially for us. We are so very happy with our experience and would highly Recommend them. Thankyou for always taking the time to listen and care you were and will be so appreciated .

This clinic is amazing. Very friendly and accommodating staff. They are fortunate to have Carrie working for them. She is great. In general, the staff is very flexible and they know their products and their business. The place is always very clean and tidy. They even offer coffee, tea and hot chocolate. They walk the extra mile to respond positively to all customer's requests.

Just this Sunday morning 02/10/2019 My cpap power supply failed at 4 am in the morning. I awoke not being able to sleep without my machine and waited til 9 am to call the office. I realized that the office was closed but wanted to leave a message in hopes someone would help me get my machine back online. I got a recording with a contact number and called in hope of getting help.I called the number to get what I thought was a cpap tech. I explained my situation to him. He assured me that I would get help within a few hours and a driver would come from Comox to Nanaimo to bring me a replacement power supply. I was so excited and revealed as I was dreading not have my cpap machine to sleep Sunday night. So with pending snow storm beginning, a man showed up at my home with my new power supply and waited until he knew it worked for me. I called the office today to tell them how much I appreciated the amazing customer service, only to find out it was the owner of the company and his family that came to my aid. Thank you, Island Cpap as a customer of yours for 4 years I had to write this review as a testament to the dedication and quality of customer service like none other I have seen before. NB.
