I really hate to be the negative Nancy here, but I was so unsure about getting a breast reduction, I did, and they’re not pretty. One nipple is higher than the other, the areola is not round and when I called the office about this, her reply was “you must have good elasticity in your skin because I did measure” and wanted to book me for another surgery to remove nipple and - try again. um no.Im a mom of 2, my husband thinks I shouldn’t have gone for the surgery and that makes me feel even worse.I have an appointment now to get tattooed areola!

All I can say is I am very happy with the reconstruction Dr. Fortin did for me. In the 3 years since I found out I was pregnant to being diagnosed with breast cancer then all the treatments this is the one doctor who let me have control over what I want. If I didn’t like something wanted changed or wanted to wait on something she was more then reasonable and understanding. I would recommend anybody to her. She is personable and professional as well as her staff. I have never been more happy with the care I received from Dr. Fortin. Thank you so much.

I was originally referred to Dr. Fortin in 2017 (as per the receptionist, but I believe it was about a year prior) for a breast reduction. I was finally called to see Dr. Fortin in 2019, and was breast-feeding at the time, but we completed the consultation. She told me to follow up after I had completed my breast-feeding journey and we could book the surgery then.During the original consultation, Dr. Fortin was a little brash and mentioned that there is no guarantee on a specific breast size, nor could I choose what size I wanted." I was a bit taken aback

I am 2 weeks post-op breast reduction and I am very satisfied with my experience with Dr. Fortin and her team. She is knowledgeable, punctual, flexible (I accidentally missed my first post-op appointment and she saw me later the same day at her office). She is a master at her craft. I am very satisfied with the results.

I seriously cut open my hand with a saw, and I expected to lose much of its functionality, but Dr. Fortin repaired it completely.Extraordinary technical skill, extraordinary interpersonal skill, doesn’t get better…

Excellent care. Doctor Fortin is both professional and pleasant. She answers questions readily and explains the intervention required to address one's condition in a clear and respectful manner. I highly recommend her.

My experience with Dr. Fortin and her office has been great. Very friendly staff and very helpful and empathic towards any situation or questions I had. My results are amazing. FDL abdominoplasty with panniculectomy procedures were done with precook and care. New lease on life thank you !

I have nothing but gratitude for Dr. Amanda Fortin. Having gone through the trauma of a breast cancer diagnosis, followed by treatment and surgeries, the thought of breast reconstruction surgery was daunting to say the least. It was also a very personal process. From the very beginning, she was extremely professional while at the same time, very sensitive to what I was going through. I was truly grateful for this. She always made me feel comfortable and I never once doubted that I was in expert hands. I am very pleased with the results – she is an exceptional plastic surgeon and we in the North are lucky to have her.

So I was referred to her for carpal tunnel issues. It took over a year to get an appointment. My appointment was at 2:20 and it took 2 hours for her to come see me at her office. I am sorry but I think my 2 hours are worth just as much as the 5 min she gave only to offer no help. If u are running late I get it. A phone call would be nice. I could have stayed home. I have fibromyalgia and my days are rough with chronic pain. Sitting in a chair for 2 hours is not exactly something I wish to do. Her exam consisted of pressure points on my hands and fingers which triggered more pain due to my sensitive nerve pain I am dealing with. What would have been nice at least is to say “sorry for making u wait 2 hours” no applology no explanation.... sorry but my time is just as valuable!!! Her specialty is plastic surgery....so not a place to go to for pain.... not sure why my dr would send me there in the first place!
