Stanley Nails Highgate

I came into this salon yesterday on 2/24/23 to get a fill on my lifted fake gel manicure only to get my nail cut into half in the middle of the nail while he was prying the dead nails off. He did not set and cure my two middle finger nails properly causing them to be almost completely chipped off after a nights sleep.. Never using this service again.

I like getting shellac nails done here on my natural nails. The first time I went the lady was amazing, unfortunately I never got her name. She was gentle, patient, and did a fantastic job. The second time a different lady seemed more rushed and unfortunately ended up with a lumpy nail. The salon owner fixed the nail for me the next day at no charge which I was thankful for. I felt bad that I didn’t notice it right away, because I don’t think he was too happy having to fix someone else’s mistakes. Overall I think this salon has talented nail techs. The shellac nails are good quality and last a long time too, I don’t have to worry about them chipping or peeling off.

First time getting my pedicure and manicure done at Stanley Nails and had a great experience. The nail technicians were quiet but nice. Both did a neat job and weren't rough. Service fees are reasonable.The salon is beautiful and they've really put an effort in keeping up with the safety guidelines. While I never really understood the point of the dangling clear barriers (for pedicure) between the customer and the nail technician , A+ for effort and care *thumbs up*.

Very nice, clean, spacious nail salon. I have visited the location on Kingsway, near the Highgate Mall. Staff is friendly. I have had pedicure and shellac manicures, both done nicely. Prices are reasonable. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because parking can be difficult to find. I will go back.

If you're ok with your nails just looking good from far away this is your place.I brought a pretty simple reference photo and she said it would be no problem, I left with a super uneven and messy looking design and bulky shaped nails. I called the next day and the woman on the phone was nice and booked me in to get them fixed. When I went back I saw the same tech and she seemed unsure why I needed them fixed. All ten nails really needed to be fixed but since she was reluctant I only got the worst ones redone. This time I left with them slightly better but still not good especially at $71 before tip for a fill.

If you need some fantastically shaped acrylic nails, Shayla and Tanya are the best! Clean and beautiful work and the shaping is always perfect!

I went to get my nails done on Wednesday june 14th and the lady kept over failing my nails and burning me with the tool and she did an awful work my nails aren’t even they are all crocked one hand has straight nails and the other one has them all Crocked, I wouldn’t recommend going here, plus I got charge 97 dollars for this work ??

Very efficient and proficient. Love their work, I got my pedicure done here and recently did a manicure as well.Really clean and bright place.

Very affordable and did a decent job on a pedicure, I would have liked a lot more work on my feet, like using a pumice stone or grading off more of the dead skin, otherwise very good service
