Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)

All was well when I first emailed about an accident I was in. The person had said my picture of my report was too small and said I had to resend the picture. When I scanned it and sent it and asked if they had received everything and if I needed to do anything they responded rudely. The person answered my emailing say no it will not work and that I'd HAVE to bring it in as my writing was too small apparently. I am from out of town so this was not easy for me to do and the email was very aggressive. Wish they could've been more professional about it and less rude.

Thank you to the RCMP for enforcing the health restrictions on the GraceLife Church. We as a society, deserve the protection of the educated individuals guiding us through this pandemic. I appreciate you!

Got 2 houses known to cause trouble on my street. They were once again throwing a big party, drinking/smoking openly on the street in the middle of the night. I called the RCMP and within 5 min 2 trucks was there to disperse them. Very effective

Nobody answers the phone even.Complete waste of taxpayers money.We should hurry up and get our own provincial forceTake a look at the hours they are open . Less than most offices and closed on statutory holidays tooIf you use the phone outside as it says on the door you end up getting through to Red Deer . What use is that?All this after they closed the local detachments and moved here at great expense to the tax payer.

My friends and I were just going for a walk when an officer accused us of smashing windows without any basis or description of the suspects to begin with. One friend has multicoloured hair while the second friend is First Nations, therefore She just assumed we were teenagers, not to mention because when in fact we are all in our 20s. I’m quite sure she racially profiled and My one friend was upset and the officer swore at her. Sure enough after the officer asked the complainants for more details it was a group of teen boys that had already left the park. Totally unprofessional behaviour. I get that she was just doing her job but the way she went about it was completely unprofessional and uncalled for. Get your facts straight before you start pointing fingers.

Our son broke into our home, we called the RCMP and they sent an officer over, we gave our statements and he assured us if they couldn't find him they would issue an arrest warrant...well the officer never did it so no one is looking for him. No other officers will assist us, they told us to email the original officer, which we did twice, of course no response. I know as far as crimes go this isn't very big, but to our family who are now traumatized and scared he'll come back it is a very big deal. I couldn't be more disappointed in our local RCMP.

Lady who answered my call was not sympathetic at all. Sounded as if she had better things to do. Had no empathy towards my situation and was very abrupt. I did not feel that she cared in the least. I hope that she is the only one like that at that office. Very poor experience. More compassion training is in order for that employee.

I called because my truck had just been broken into. I almost caught the suspect in the act. I informed police it just happened they showed up an hour and a half later. I then informed him one of my neighbours may have video footage. The police did not speak with neighbour to secure footage. The thief has come back several times since then and will continue to because our police are a joke and don’t do there job.

This goes for both RCMP of the Stony Plain, and the Spruce Grove detachment. Every experience I've had with officers in my past 2 years have been exemplary.Whether it's as little as a smile, and a greeting to them approaching me for community concerns. I'm always happy to be greeted by one of RCMPs frontline staff.Just know that there will always be people out there that truly respect the work that your members do to mitigate, and eliminate problems for the better of communities as a whole.Police lives matter. Stay safe out there!

I had my truck stolen in Camrose where I live. Stony Plain RCMP arrested the guy the same day it was stolen and found my wallet and a $10,000 bank draft on the guy. My wallet with all of my ID and cards were in the truck at the time as well as a $10,500 bank draft. The Camrose police called me 3 weeks later after the arrest to let me know the whereabouts of the wallet and draft AFTER I cancelled all my cards and put a stop payment on the draft. Good thing Camrose called me or I would still be sitting here wondering where my wallet and bank draft ended up! I should also mention I called Stony Plain 3 times inquiring where my wallet was and nobody there had a clue what I was talking about.I bet you all must feel so safe out there in Stony Plain having such an organized well put together detachment...NOT!!!!
