Sister Catherine Donnelly Catholic School

I choose this school because it was a catholic school and even though I am not catholic, I wanted my son to learn about religion in a safe environment. It was after enrolling I looked up this school and saw it had high reviews and was ranked #1 in our district, which was really impressive to me. After only being at this school 4 years, I had to pull my son from it because of a Principal who shouldn’t be doing the job. She choose to ignore bullying in the school, ignore the fact that I had over and over again told her about not only my child but others being bullied. Then came the meeting for counsel where she said that she was looking for fund raising that had little to no work to it. After the last incident of bullying and the Principal once again refusing to do anything about the situation, my husband and I decided it was time to pull our son from this toxic situation that was causing him more anxiety, stress and making him constantly nervous. I do not recommend this school if you want your child safe and protected from bullying and want your child involved in fund raising, as I do, to teach them proper lessons of earning money is hard, you have to work for it and it’s not little to no work. I feel for the children left at this school as this particular principal doesn’t like confrontation and won’t do anything about situation as bullying other than post a new sign at the school saying zero tolerance of bullying. But then doing nothing about it. Not even sending a note home to the bully's parents as the minister says they’re suppose to.

Administration cares so much about the students

Includes a YMCA daycare centre. Jen is fantastic. Highly recommended.
