Brass & Briar Studios

Brass and Briar and Kara specifically were wonderful!!! This was my first tattoo and they went above and beyond to make the process fun and comfortable. Kara graciously started with a phone consult since I was driving from a way’s in, day of all of the studio staff were friendly and welcoming and offered snacks and water right off the bat. Kara took the time with me to go over and add to my design, and then explained step by step process, including what she needed to do for prep, aftercare, and answering all questions I had thoughtfully and courteously. She even went so far as to ask about and then play my favorite music in the room during the session to help make me more comfortable. And probably most importantly, the artwork is stunning. Really and truly beautiful, detailed, and well done, better than I could’ve imagined! I could not be happier and am SO thankful. I would recommend Brass and Briar and Kara to anyone who asked (and already have)! Thank you.

Had a tattoo appointment with Ethan yesterday 4/2/23. Tattoo came out amazing and Ethan was amazing to talk to throughout the whole process. Was scheduled for a 12-6 session and ended up finishing just before 4pm. Ethan is extremely professional, but can also carry great conversations as well, especially for someone who is a Lord of The Rings addict. Thanks to Ethan and Brass & Briar for an amazing experience. I will work with them again on my next piece!

Went in for a double helix ear piercing (two piercings in the upper ear fold) with Nick Holes. This was my third piercing session with him in three years - he is incredible! So professional, patient, conscientious, and empathetic - he really ensures that you have a positive experience and that you feel great with the results. Nick provides explanations and guidance at every step of the way, and takes excellent care of his clients. The piercings are perfectly placed and aligned, and he carefully walks you through the aftercare process. Thanks again for another wonderful piercing experience - I highly recommend Nick Holes!

I got a GORGEOUS tattoo from Kara and it was such an amazing experience! She was sooo nice and accommodating--I felt very comfortable and safe the entire time I was there (: there were waters and snacks available if I needed anything and I even got some free stickers when the appointment was over (that's a big deal if you appreciate a good quality sticker like me). I would absolutely go back!!

I went out on a whim and decided I wanted a naval piercing. This studio was highly recommended, and the reviews looked very promising. Nick was amazingly knowledgeable, kind and walked you through the process of getting a piercing, healing process and any other questions you may have had. Thank you for making my first body piercing comfortable and easy. Highly recommend Brass and Briar!

This was my second tattoo appointment with Kara and I am extremely pleased with the experience. She is revamping some existing work from another artist at a different studio that I was unhappy with. After one appointment I can already say I am in love with the tattoo and am looking forward to adding more to it! She also did a pet portrait tattoo that healed very well and I can’t help but smile every time I look at. The studio is clean and has a friendly environment. As someone who gets anxious easily I found the atmosphere relaxing and inviting. I highly recommend Brass & Briar and especially Kara!

Top to bottom, an awesome experience. Went to Nick Holes for second lobe piercings and could not recommend him more. He is kind and patient (even allowing me to reposition our marks more times than was probably necessary) and explained the whole procedure and after care very clearly. Super clean studio, super friendly front desk folks, with snacks and drinks to boot. Wholeheartedly recommend Nick Holes at Brass and Briar!

I went to Brass & Briar for the first time today and I will definitely be making this my forever piercing place. Nick Holes was kind, calm, knowledgeable and all around great. I was super nervous to get my industrial done and he was patient and understanding throughout the whole process. I was very impressed and will be coming back in the near future!

Had a helix piercing with Nick this past weekend and the experience was perfect! He was super communicative during the entire process, and explained each step very clearly. His 'bedside manner' was immaculate and I had 100% trust that not only did he know what he was doing, but that what he was doing was the right thing. I just felt very safe all throughout the process. Also at the end he offered my friend and I fruitsnacks which is a small touch, but means a lot! Would definitely recommend getting a piercing here!!
