Professional, Punctual, Personable, Pride in WorkmanshipPool electrical installation - We had multiple quotations, however, Matt was the only one that proposed alternative solutions that saved us a bit of money and a lot of drywall repair. He also came out to mark the trench requirements and came out again when we hit an uncharted wire during the trenching and offered a simple solution to repair.Another contractor for the same project could not even commit to a day. In contrast, when Matt says he will be there between 8:00-8:30, expect him at 8:00 on the dot. Punctuality is rare these days, but with how busy we all are, it makes a difference when you are trying to schedule your own availability. When the ESA inspector could not show up at the last minute due to illness, Matt was not satisfied to leave us with a trench until the inspection could be rescheduled, so he negotiated doing the inspection virtually.Our impression of Matt is that he a down to earth, straight shooter that is friendly to deal with and genuinely wants to see you happy with the work. Even small things like winding up the 100’ temporary extension cord intertwined along the fence line were take care of. The work is all very meticulously done. Very impressive.He has definitely earned our trust and commitment. No need for multiple quotations in the future. We have found ‘our guy’.

I was very impressed with M&J Electric, right from the first phone call with Matt. He was very accommodating with my installation date. Both Matt and James were very friendly, extremely professional and did a fantastic job, on the installation of my electric car battery charger. M&J Electric recently changed our ancient electric panel. The process was handled by Matt in the most professional manner: Matt filed the appropriate paperwork and booked the date with Hydro. The Hydro people showed up at 7:30am on the dot and Matt made sure to be at the house to meet them at that time. He even came by the house the day before the switch to make sure he had everything ready for it. His crew left the house tidy and with the new electric panel that looks super modern and safe! The following day we got an invoice that was to our pleasant surprise a bit lower than the quote we got! And we also got a certification from inspection to see that everything was done up to code! Matt has done smaller jobs for us in the past that were also handled fantastically!Matt is a very honest man that doesn’t make decisions or give advice driven by profit. He is also very friendly and isn’t condescending which is very appreciated as we know little about his trade. I strongly recommend Matt’s business for all electric needs.
