Royal City Aerials

I cannot say enough about how wonderful all of the staff is. I began with Royal City as an absolute newbie. I was intimidated prior to starting but dedicated to start something new. I was so welcomingly surprised by how open and kind Nia, Amy and Victoria were. They are so motivating ,passionate and enthusiastic about their work it has inspired me and truly changed my life. I am so happy I found this place and I honestly cannot say enough. They are not only outstanding at what they do, they are compassionate in difficult times. If you are even considering this place come! It is honestly the best thing I have ever tried. I am so thankful I did this!!

The new space is gorgeous: smooth floors, more poles (and taller and in varying widths and surface coatings) and lots of space to move!After a multi-year pandemic poling hiatus, there was no question about what studio to choose to get dancing again. The instructors at RCA are amazing humans who value safety, technique, and personal goals. I always feel that I'm being pushed *just enough* to get where I want to go. This studio is all about body positivity and respecting boundaries.The community of students is also incredibly supportive. I own a pole and could train at home, but nothing beats laughing, cheering, falling and succeeding with the rest of the RCA community!If you are just starting or looking to get back into pole, definitely give RCA a try!

The Pole Place is a great studio to build confidence, strength, flexibility, and body awareness. The small classes allow experienced instructors to give you the best advice and support. This is a healthy and challenging hobby to add to anyone’s life :) I will be coming back!

I've been coming to Royal City Aerials (formerly Pole Place) since Spring 2021 when I came in as a beginner. I think at this point it's safe to say I'm addicted to this studio. . . every single class I've tried has been engaging, fun, and a pleasure to participate in. I do both pole and hoop at the studio.Every one of the instructors - Victoria, Nia, Alyssa, Amy, Lisa, CeCe - is exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, passionate about teaching their art, and truly enthusiastic about making sure that you get the most out of the class.I am constantly amazed just how much the instructors go above and beyond to help the students, remembering details about what their latest accomplishment is, or what they are finding challenging. They are so invested in your journey, and when you reach a milestone or nail a trick, they are just as excited (if not more, lol!) as you.As someone who thrives on order and structure, I also really appreciate how professionally-run and structured each class is. It really feels like you are getting value out of every minute in class, so it is worth every penny.There is absolutely zero judgment, negativity, or sense of competition here. I was worried about that before starting aerials, but I had nothing to worry about. In addition to the amazing instructors, I've had the pleasure of meeting many wonderful people from all walks of life - age, body type, skill level, fitness ability/background, movement style.No exaggeration, being a student at this studio has made me a better person and has positively affected every aspect of my life. What I've learned has gone far beyond the pole and hoop. Beyond the physical benefits, I have gained confidence, persistence, grit, mental strength, self-care, better problem-solving, and more.Whether you have never even touched a pole or aerial hoop before, or whether you are seasoned with aerials, whether you love the dance aspect or the fitness aspect, there is an appropriate class for you. If you are the least bit hesitant to try an aerial class here, I so encourage you to take a leap of faith and JUST DO IT and don't be surprised if you fall in love!

This place deserves all the praise in the world. The instructors are all so passionate about what they do and how they teach; it's really a beautiful thing to watch and be a part of. Royal City Aerials is helping me become the strongest/happiest version of myself( although, my lower half looks like a bruised banana, I'm told that will stop happening lol)and for that, I couldn't be more grateful. This place is the bee's knees!

An awesome studio for anyone interested in trying pole or other aerial arts. The instructors are amazing, very welcoming and attentive -- they'll help you achieve your goals and have a good experience no matter where you're starting from. This is a fantastic place to learn, get stronger, feel beautiful, and have fun in a safe and very supportive environment.

If anyone has ever felt nervous about starting pole or hoop, they should definitely check out this studio! The owner and instructors create an atmosphere where everyone feels good about themselves and their individual progress. Everyone cheers each other on and makes it feel like a safe space to explore the many different styles of dance offered. I also love that the instructors are always improving so they can challenge their students with new tricks and combos! Just an amazing place to be!
