Cabane à Sucre Au Pied De Cochon
What an incredible experience! Reservation to the Sugar Shack is open a year in advance. I was fortunate to go with a large group. Price was about $65pp which is incredibly reasonable for the quality and amount of food we shared. We already made reservation for next year and we're looking forward to it! I believe they charge for containers to store leftover, so be sure to BRING YOUR OWN TUPPERWARE.

Great restaurant. It is one of the hardest restaurant to get a reservation. But worth it.Decor is nice and unique.Staffs are friendly and nice.Services are fast.Price is a little bit expensive but i got take out for at least 4 meals at home.Food is great. Very fat and greasy. But good fat. The restaurant is like a luxurious cabane à Sucre.

Ridiculous, excessive, indulgent, and just about the most spectacular dining experience you can get in Canada. I haven’t been back here since 2017 but after closing for COVID for several years, this place absolutely came back with a vengeance.Come prepared with lots of Tupperware - they have takeout containers but it’s better if you bring your own. Also please pace yourselves better than we did. This place is really optimal with about 8 people (to a single table) but the minimum must be 4 (I know 2-3 are allowed but then you get less food). The first dish was a foie gras cake, which should set the mood for the rest of the evening of indulgence. Super rich, sweet maple nougat mixed with the savouriness of the foie gras and pistachio cream, all spread onto white bread. It just works. The next dish was one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen/had- a lightly cured and half cooked trout on top of a soufflé omelette, covered in beurre monte with salmon roe and caviar. Somehow delicate, light, flavourful, and rich all at once. Absolute show stopper. The next courses came out fast and furious after a brief lull. Pea soup with ham and pork to start, followed by 12 hour cooked ham glazed with maple syrup, served with duck fat fried pancakes drenched in maple syrup, salad with chicharron, goat cheese, maple syrupy eggs, and celery salad- all designed to be stacked into the perfect bite (and it was perfect). The roast chicken (half a chicken for group of 4) was the best roast chicken I’ve ever had- absolutely smothered in a rich mushroom cream sauce with morel mushrooms- so unbelievably tender and juicy, not a second overcooked. The only two “misses” of the evening for me were the cabbage rolls filled with duck farce in tomato sauce- which was bit underseasoned and lacking in flavour, and the meat pie- which was loaded with meatballs, sausage, chunks of ham- just way too much meat, way too rich and fatty, but this may also have had to do with how full we were at this point. The desserts were ridiculous, the maple ice cream was phenomenal, but the pecan pie was way too sweet- disgustingly sweet. I found myself craving for a real candied apple and was astounded to find it was a fake one stuffed with maple mousse and caramelizes apple bits. I drowned my sorrows in my maple syrup infused cocktails instead. The stuffed cronut with maple cream and maple cotton candy was just the final nail in my coffin. I can die happy now.Great service, great dinner, and now we have leftovers for days. I’ll need a cardiologist after this, you should go see yours too.

If you love to experiment unique recipe, you would love this place! The food is so good and the portion that they gave us is generous that you don't regret to pay that expensive! Also their drinks are amazingly good! You can bring your own tuppperwares for take-out the extra food!

One of the most incredible meal experiences I have ever had. This was my first cabane à sucré and I was very impressed with the quality of food and the high quality service. The meal was served in 13 courses, and there were plenty of left overs to go around.

This was one of our BEST dining experience this far in our travels. Laurence (the hostess/manager) was beyond accommodating, kind and funny! The food was beautifully plated and sent our tastes buds into a frenzy with each new dish that came to the table. Be prepared to have days worth of leftovers to take home too. They were understanding of all of our food allergies and other restrictions too. The price was pleasing as well. We are so very grateful this experience and definitely plan to return in the spring!!

A unique experience to be taken advantage of. A generous multi course family style meal expertly prepared. Service was excellent with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Definitely need to be more on the open and adventurous side as many of the dishes are several feet to the left of ordinary! Value for money was exceptional IMO, definitely bring your own take home containers, there will be leftovers!
