Doug Hill has been our lawyer for over 35 yrs. He has been there when we needed him. He assisted us when we had issues building our first house and most recently with a claim on our house insurance. We had been dealing with the insurance for over six months. Doug listened to our concerns and answered all our questions. He gave us good honest advice and direction. We don’t know what he did, he performed magic and the insurance company settled within a week. He is fast, efficient and affordable. He is very professional when dealing with people.In our eyes, Doug is amazing, we will continue to go to Doug for assistance.

I am not the type of person to give a negative review on anyone, but I feel that I must write one now, to let other potential clients know what I experienced dealing with Mr. Hill and his staff. Information was sent to Mr. Hill to look over and have me sign in order to transfer property. After waiting over a month, I contacted his office and spoke to Sarah. She seems bored when I explained that I needed him to contact me to sign the papers. She said that she would let him know. Another five days went by with no return call. Over the next 2 weeks I called several times and spoke to Sarah, and Heddie, another staff member. Every time I called they said that he was either with clients, or was not in the office. After waiting another week with no call back, I let them know that I would no longer require Mr. Hill as my solicitor. I found another lawyer and it was taken care of in no time.

Overall, my husband and I had an excellent experience with Doug Hill & team. They just finished helping us with the purchase of our second home. His team answered all of our questions, were quick to respond, very professional and made the entire process feel seamless. Closing day was so smooth and we got into our home bright & early! Would recommend!
