We stayed here for 2 nights in one of the oTentiks. It was a first-time experience camping in this and it was amazing! It is equipped to fit 6 people (1 queen bed at the top, and 4 singles at the bottom) and has ample of space inside. There was a sturdy wooden table with 4 chairs and a bench. Outside there was a charcoal grill (on the porch), 2 adirondack chairs (also on the porch), a picnic table, and a fire pit.The washroom is the same place as where the showers are. There were 2 showers and were very clean. At night, the sky was very clear when we were there. We got lucky that it wasn’t cloudy so that we were able to star gaze.It was overall a good experience staying here, definitely would recommend this kind of camping to others especially those who want to experience camping without the tent building.

I’ve been going to this campground since the 70’s.It is so clean and well cared for. Definitely the nicest campground I’ve ever been to bar none. Worth the visit.

We have traveled to this campground every summer for the last 4 years. Our kids absolutely love it. There is a great selection of private campsites with firepits and the works. We love hearing the waves crash onto the beach at night. The campground beach is one of a kind, offering both ocean and freshwater at the same spot.During normal times before COVID came along and messed everything up, there are numerous activities for the kids to do interesting for parents too! This is BY FAR the BEST campground in the whole Cabot Trail. Look for campsites 107, 99, 134,136.

Stayed 2 nights at the otentik cabin. The cabin was nice and clean. There is one USB charger to charge one phone at the time. It was tricky as we were a group of 4 but we managed. The campground was nice and clean. The washrooms were clean. Shower was free.Staff was kind and helpful. The beach access is easy and the beach beautiful. They have seals swimming around.

Good sized campground with a lovely beach. I appreciate the amenities - free hot showers, flush toilets, dishwashing stations, lots of garbage bins. The beach is gorgeous and a fairly short, easy walk from most sites. The water is warm and it’s nice and sandy! Cons - most of the sites are fairly open (not a lot of privacy), lots of noise from the highway, and they don’t seem very strict about enforcing quiet hours.

Beautiful National Park Campground. Very good facilities and roomy sites. Ingonish a nice little town. Try to go and see a Ceilidh fiddle music. Great fun and those Cape Bretoners know how to tap along.

Nice and friendly staff. Beautiful little campground with beach access to the Gulf of St-Lawrence. Clean bathrooms and showers. Lots were clean and well updated. Would definitely go back.

I was a bit disappointed in this campground. The surrounding area is beautiful but the campground isn't anything special. Most of it is in an open field, leaving little privacy between sites. It's a dusty dirt road that connects the various camping areas in the campground.

Favorite campground we stayed out in Cape Breton Highlands National Park. The facilities, location, tree coverage were all spectacular. Somewhat close to ingonish, about 15minute drive each way. The beach is very close but id suggest walking to down the beach about 150 meters, the sand is nicer and entrance into water is less Rocky /seaweedy.

Great campground. Hard to find for first timer especially driving in at night. The roads leading into the campsite are a little rough and a bit confusing as you have signs that state you are leaving the 'CabotTrail area every so often. Just trust your instincts and drive towards the campsite as there is basically only one main road for the whole trail."
