I am an Occupational Therapist with over 30 years experience. I have used other companies offering PSW services however Gotcare offers a superior experience. The owner is also an Occupational Therapist and thoroughly understands client needs. She is often able to offer innovative solutions to various clients to effect a proper match between the service provider and client. Gotcare has access to thousands of PSWs in the province, which is a tremendous advantage in assisting clients living in more remote areas and offering several potential candidates in most areas of the province. The portal is very user friendly greatly facilitating the referral process. I have been very satisfied with Gotcare and would highly recommend them to health care providers who demand high quality care for their clients.

My husband and I were so thoroughly impressed by the service provided by Gotcare when we started our search for a caregiver for my mother-in-law living rurally. The initial response to our inquiry was same-day. When we found the time to connect back with Rod, he was very honest, upfront, and professional about the likelihood of finding a nurse based on the time/schedule and financial commitment we had in mind. Soon after, Carole (company founder and seasoned OT) followed up having vetted a seasoned PSW, and genuinely connected with our expressed needs and the complexity of my MIL's health/care situation. I have been working and interacting with the health/home care sectors (as a family caregiver myself) for ten years and have never felt this understood, supported, and realistically guided. Although my in-laws ultimately decided not to pursue PSW support through Gotcare, I would highly recommend Gotcare's services to anyone I care about and love their self-directed model and equitable opportunity stance that promotes authentic care partnerships between clients, family care partners, and health care workers. Great Staff, and a very easy communication with staff and clients. Its nice as a PSW that we connect with the family and clients to discuss our own hours that fits both the PSW and clients schedule. Office staff is always there to help when needed with great positive attitude and very professional.

I have received homecare for 20 years through HCCSS companies such as VHA, CBI, TNG, through attendant care services through SCI, March of Dimes, etc. and through private companies like Bayshore; I have also researched + experienced every type of care and THIS is the BEST, bar none! I am wholeheartedly grateful for this ingenious new way of managing care where I have a say.The responsiveness is tops. Also, through this model, thy can pay PSWs up to $28 while only charging $41 whereas private companies pay $20-$23 to the PSW and charge $42.if you are moving to FMHC through HCCSS, this is an option you need -- at least for your largest daily booking. Trust me, I have researched everything out there, and Gotcare is the only company to never have let me down where others over-promise (private SPOs) or try to get rid of you as a client (public SPOs) when your booking is difficult to fill.Countless bow-downs to the only system that works for everyone involved!

Having been injured in a car accident has taken away a lot of my freedom and mobility, requiring the need for in home support. Ihave had various services throughout the years and was kind of nervous about being so vulnerable and having no control over how things were done in my home. All that changed when my medical team recommended Rod and Got Care. I was very impressed with the level of professionalism, dignity, and compassion they showed for me and my family right from the beginning. I got a chance to provide input on what I was looking for in a Support Worker and I was provided with several very qualified candidates. I have a wonderful PSW now that makes my life so much more enjoyable. Unlike most support companies, my PSW works for me, and follows the path I feel comfortable with, all while ensuring I meet my proper goals and targets for each period. My car accident took away a lot of my dignity, Rod, Jenn and Got Care gave it back. If support is what you need, look no further, Got Care should be your first and only call!

Gotcare is fantastic. Even if you are unsure about whether or not they can fit your caregiving needs, I highly recommend giving them a call and discussing your options. My situation is quite unique and luckily Rod and Carol were able to assist over the phone and even go above and beyond to give me guidance and recommendations for the future care of my grandmother. I needed help quickly and was referred to Gotcare.ca. I was very impressed and happy with the quick help that I was given. They will be the first organization I will call in the future for any additional help I may need. They really care about clients and their own staff.

Carol went out of her way to find us someone with our rather difficult needs from their sizeable data base. She was attentive and quick, informative and helpful, so that I would recommend anyone to GotCare. Their procedures are so much less complicated than the regular agencies out there.

Gotcare came up with a unique on-call system to care for my friend that was absolutely perfect for us. We were able to interview the caregivers ourselves instead of just having someone assigned as with regular home care businesses. Gotcare went out their way to give us the best service possible. Very friendly and accommodating as well. Regular home care businesses often have a minimum time of 3 or 4 hours but with Gotcare you negotiate time slots with the caregiver. So much more convenient. And their rate is more competitive as well. I would recommend Gotcare to any one who needs specialized home care.
