Furnace was broken (wouldn’t turn on) and had them come take a look at it. Within 2 minutes they diagnosed it as a broken furnace motor, fine no problem let’s get it fixed. They call a few days later and let me know they have the part and are ready to install it.They come by an install the new motor and the furnace runs. Great! I go to work and come back to a freezing cold house. It’s clear the furnace stopped working, so give them a call and they come by 2 days later and tell me that the Heat Exchange is actually broken and that I need a brand new furnace and they give me 3 pricing options.I get a 2nd opinion and they tell me that first off it should have been obvious that the heat exchange was the issue all along. They also offer me 3 pricing options, with every furnace being about 25% cheaper than Lynx. I did my research online about the different brands being offered and they were both very highly ranked, so it’s not like I was getting a lesser quality furnace. Obviously I went with the more affordable company.I follow up with lynx to let them know that they didn’t do their job correctly and that they should have been able to identify the issue as the heat exchange and not the motor. Ask them to refund the price of motor, say that they can keep the ridiculous amount of labor they charged me. They tell me it’s not their fault and they won’t take the motor back. After a few minutes of going back and forth they say they will talk to their supplier to see if they will accept the motor back and get back to me. Still waiting for that phone call…..This company has absolutely no creditable and take no responsibility for their actions.Worst Heating Company Ever.

I set up a furnace service plan with them. Not only do they not followup with the service theyare required to do as part of the 15 point mainteance service plan ($233 a year) but they don'tfollow up or return calls either/. Very poor business practices. When I sent a letter to canceltheir service plan to the address in Orleans 158-5929 Jeanne D'Arc Blvd, the post office returnedmy letter indicating: Moved/Unknown/What a bunch of clowns! I'm cancelling my service agreement, but first I'm trying to send thema letter and they don't even bother updating their address..if they are still in business!
