Impark charges a minimum of $2.55 per hour here. Then they add 21% parking tax (thanks to Translink) AND 5% sales tax on top of that. If you're there with a car to pick up mail from the Canada Post outlet in Shoppers, that's a charge of $3.25.

Another big city, another parking garage. This parking garage has the tightest entrance with narrow 90° turn into and out off the entrance. With the shops at New West, the train station and parking too, we saw lots of security because these businesses don't want any problems in this vibrant area.

Rate just went up again $3.30 for an hour now. At least the increase was small this time ($0.05). The last increase was $1.25!The spots are quite narrow for all the SUVs that park, especially in the 2 hour spots.
