Mike O'Hara - Your Belleville Mover

Mike was great to deal with, the guys loading onto the truck were great. The rating is for the 2 out of 3 people doing the unloading. With the exception of Adam, the others were very unmotivated. We found things that were broken but we were never told about. Now Mike did reimburse but the 2 younger people on his crew are very unprofessional and I hope they treat other's items with more respect in the future

From the first phone call to the last hug of moving day Mike and his crew were the best. Everything was done with care and respect for our possessions. Our thanks to Mike, Dan, Mike, Jesse, and Bob.

WORST MOVER THAT I HAVE EVER HAD IN 9 MOVES IN CANADA

Best moving team - fast and efficient. I tipped the workers well. However, overbilling was an issue here by the owner. I was quoted $225.00/hr plus HST. I did use my own packing materials and took apart all furniture and even moved everything to one level to make the move easier and faster. There was nothing extra. My total hours came to 10.25 hours. (6 hours drive time + 2 hours load + 2.25 unload) My total should have been $2,606.06 including HST. I contacted Mike O' Hara to ask for a more detailed statement of Billing to explain the extra $346.07 and after one week got NO ANSWER in return. So here I am left wondering and posting my results with this company. Next time I use a mover, I will ask for a detailed bill before paying. I no longer trust Mike the Mover.

Mike O'Hara portrayed himself as a very honest Christian man when he came to our home to see the size of the move and provide a quote. Turned out Mike O'Hara has no problem lying, under estimating and doubling the bill, despite going through our house, with us showing him ALL our stuff to be moved from Wallbridge Loyalist Road, Belleville on Aug 9th, held in their storage facility until October 5th with delivery to our new home in Trenton. He quoted $7200.00 all in. After delivery on October 5, the bill was over $14,000.00 and his man, Adam, was told not leave our home until he received full amount. My husband called Mike but he would not budge, $14,000.00 plus, was the charge. Were had us over a barrel, having to pay DOUBLE the quote. As if that was not enough of a slap in the face, our new custom built dining room table suite was severely damaged on two leaves of the table. The table was assembled by Mike's team. Nothing was said about the damage. It was Thanksgiving, a week later, upon opening our table to expose the severely damaged leaves, that we realized the movers had damaged our new furniture. Mike had no intention of paying for the damage. On further inspection, the China cabinet was scratched, three end tables, our new Bombay bar, large Bombay cabinet, large dresser in our master bedroom were damaged. Mike promised to come by to view the damage but he did not show up, nor did he answer our emails or telephone messages. Do not believe this man's quotes promises, or Christan commitment. He is committed only to making money by lying, and gouging trusting clients.

This company is great, very experienced. Staff work fast and well together. And the price was well worth the job that was done. They wrap and protected all the furniture and and nothing was damaged.I WOULD LIKE TO RECOMMEND THEM TO ALL.Thanks from Bonnie and Gary.

Mike himself was good when it came to dealing with my concerns, however the men he had hired were lazy and inconsiderate of my mother's furniture. Many pieces arrived at her apartment marked. And they lost 2 shelves from her TV console. I had to phone Mike twice. The first time they tried blaming a family friend for losing them. The second time I called the shelves mysteriously showed up.They also lost the connection that holds up one of the beds and now she has to get a custom made piece for it.She sat on the bed and it fell to the floor.

Highly recommended. This mover is an honest, reliable moving company. Rates are lower than the big guys. Mike O'Hara is the best moving experience I've had. And I've moved to many times unfortunately. Gotta go where the work is. You will not be disappointed
