Zehrs

This Zehrs is my go to grocery store even though I have to drive a bit further to get there. The staff are all extremely helpful. The layout of the store just makes perfect sense and it's easy to shop there in a very efficient manner. They have everything our family needs and more.

Walking into the store buying candy that says 1.79 im like wow good deal as im walking up to the cashier with 2 dollars in my hand the price ends up being 7.49 im like what i tell the cashier it said 1.79 but he was rude and decides to ask me to go because the people behind me i ended up going home with no candy at all

Well kept Zehrs location. Generally well stocked, except some of the baby formula but that’s a problem everywhere these days. Super nice staff at self checkout, Debbie is very nice! Quiet location in the mornings, lots of parking, maybe not the best neighbourhood/area. There are some EV charging stations in the lot. Carts are free to use. Priority parking for families with kids here.

A friend and I were looking for some potted plants/flowers and we picked up these two from the outdoor garden center at Zehrs Laurentian. We had looked elsewhere at first but here we found very good quality and price, lots to choose from, and staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a positive experience for sure. No....we do not work there, nor do we know anyone who does. We are satisfied customers only.

The store recently put up barriers at the entrances and exits that not only look terrible but implies that Loblaws brands sees it's clientel as thieves. I find it personally insulting, especially with the price gouging coming from the brand. They shouldn't really be pointing fingers right now

So I found these for $9.99 atZehrs Laurentian Power Center on MondayAnd they seemed to have like a 200 or more of themI noticed the Best Before Date is MARCH 11th 2023I told one girl you worked there and she did not really seem to care so then I told the employee at the self check out and she got on the phone and called someone so in the end the Store Manager came over to me and I told him there past dated along with the Butcher's Choice Beef Burger, Cheddar Cheese flavor MARCH 2nd 2023 so he was very rude and told me he would have to pull the from the shelf okWell today I was Driving by and I thought I would stop in and what do you know both of these are still on the shelf at full price past dated

This is my usual grocery store.Popped in today for a few items. No baskets... so I asked at the self-checkout if they had any. Was told they no longer have baskets. What? Quite bizarre!On the way in, I also noticed they also had no carts! Zero! Told this to the self check out staff person. Half expected to hear the overhead announcement system page someone to address the carts. Nope! I guess she thought it's not her problem.After I got my few items (carrying them since no baskets or carts) I noticed there were still no carts as I left. No staff person outside could be seen collecting them either. And it's not as if the store was super busy or anything.Not sure what happened to the idea of taking care of customers. I guess those days are gone at this store. Frequently grumpy front end staff. And, like today, a poor reponse when problems do arise.Maybe it's time to check out Sobeys.

Seem to have issues with stocking shelves. I think we're long past the COVID shortage issues, yet on my visit the other day there were no bagged potatoes, no large jars of Dijon mustard & no PC mac & cheese. Add to that the continuous pricing increases are disappointing. I suppose most grocery stores are the same however my frustration on supply chain issues & pricing with this store are increasing with each visit

Went to Zehrs to buy a steak sauce and some deserts. Got out empty handed. Some sauce on the shelves had expiration date well passed a year ago (2022). Also, I had to put the cheesecake down that I was going to buy. The cheese cake was all watery and I have never seen something like this before.

Was definitely better when they subscribed to that scanner accuracy code policy. Makes waiting in line for 20 minutes to get the money they you were scammed out of far less frustrating. Lesson learned, stick to my the list, don’t get sucked into buying anything because it looks like a good deal, it isn’t. It may be on sale, but you’ll offsetting any savings with your time.
