Dermatology Centre at Toronto Western Hospital

Dr. Rosen and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Was worried before going after seeing all these reviews but it seems there have been many changes in the last few years.

Zero Stars. The absolute worst experience I have ever had with a clinic. I don't know why they bother taking on patients. I liked the actual doctors but their admin staff are absolutely useless. For the past 4 months they have ignored refill requests from my pharmacy twice (my doctor said they prefer these requests to me making an appointment) and when I tried making an appointment I got nothing. Called every day for 3 weeks with zero answer. Never returned my voicemail. They put me on medication that treated my skin and going off of it has been awful. My skin has gotten so bad without treatment and waiting to get a new dermatologist somewhere else. Shut this clinic down they don't do the one thing they are supposed to do. Will be making a formal complaint to UHN but wanted to steer people away from getting their hopes up about getting treatment and wasting their time.

While it is admittedly very difficult to connect with someone in the office if you are not yet a patient (a result of what I'm assuming is an unmanageable amount of daily inquiries due to the chronic shortage of derms in Ontario), if you manage to get in, this is a very good clinic. Dr. Doiron and his residents are thoughtful providers who make time to answer all your questions and concerns. The office staff have been accommodating to my needs which I really appreciate. I'm grateful to be a patient of this clinic. Thanks.

I'd like to echo the sentiments of the review that was submitted two weeks prior to mine.I have been going to Dr. Lynde's dermatology clinics for the better part of the past decade and I never missed an appointment once. In late 2019 I was unexpectedly called into my office and had my job drastically changed...a date which happened to conflict with my appointment with Dr. Lynde. After the meeting I attempted to reach the office to re-schedule my appointment and over the past 4 months I haven't heard back once...despite making 6 phone calls.Now, let's get to the appointments themselves. Don't intend on going in on time because they drastically overbook each time slot. When Dr. Lynde does grace you with his presence he spends no time getting to know you (I've been there for ten years and he has no idea who I am) and basically just writes a prescription as soon as he walks in the room. It's the most impersonal patient > doctor relationship I have ever experienced.This is the most unprofessional medical service I have ever experienced in my life. If you can avoid going here...do it. Bay Street has a great dermatology clinic and they actually answer your calls.All the best with your respective skin issues!

The admin staff is the rudest. They made me wait for 40 minutes for my appointment, after I had arrived on time and couldn't bother to be apologetic or empathetic about the same. When I complained that I need to be at work, they told me that I could reschedule. Mind you, if I was 30 minutes late, they would not be entertaining me. I understand that the healthcare is backlogged and wait times are unavoidable, but the staff could use some customer service training.

Second time seeing Dr. Dorian, really nice and informative Dr. Didn't have to wait long for scheduled appointment. Would recommend this Dr. for all Dermatology needs.

How long is the wait time at this clinic? Reviews are bad and wondering if I should ask my family doctor to refer me elsewhere
