Loved the place the food and the drinks. Some great cocktails and tacos on the menu. Amazing staff nice and helpful. They helped us find a place to park our baby stroller even though it was super busy. 5 stars for food and hospitality.

Loved the place! The food was amazing and the prices were fair. Our server, Juliana, was also really accommodating and kind. We asked for low sugar margarita pitchers and they managed to make it really well while still tasting good & the churros & shrimp tacos are to die for. Everyone there, whether it be the cooks, severs or bar tenders gave the best quality food/drinks. Highly recommend and one of my favourite restaurants in the city

I always love Escondite but was especially impressed this time around. I booked an online reservation with a group at the minute but when we arrived at the restaurant, we were informed they were actually all booked for the night. We left disappointed but as we were making a plan to go elsewhere, the host came out and said that they could squeeze us in if we left by a certain time. That worked for us and we had a great night, with delicious food and drinks - our waitress Jessica was especially friendly and attentive. Thanks Escondite!

Everything about this place is amazing! The food is to absolutely die for… best tacos in Montreal by far. So fresh and so tasty! The staff are also SO amazing and so friendly… couldn’t have asked for a greater atmosphere to ring in my 30th birthday.There was also a group of people near us who were very rude throughout the night (bullying and laughing at the staff) and the staff all handled them with the utmost respect and were still very accommodating regardless of their behaviour so I applaud them all and again, we had the very best service and I highly recommend this place … 10/10

We had an evening meal on a very busy weekday pre-Habs game. The food was amazing. We had mango salad, guacamole & chips as well as tacos. The Margaritas are to die for.Service was very good. However decor leaves a lot to be desired (peeling walls, scratched tables, miss matched chairs). Despite this the food & service makes up for the shabby decor.
