Tips for signing up through The Mobile Shop on 17th Street:1. DON’T! or at least go to a different location - we’ve had good luck at Sherwood Park before2. Be aware that information may be misrepresented by store manager Aman - even if it is written on the signed and paid contract3. Don’t expect an apology from her either because she won’t own her mistakes4. Read the contract before signing - don’t just rely on what is being told to you verbally (our fault for not reading every word but I know we’re not alone in this)5. If you’re trading in phones but have to wait for your new phones to be delivered be aware that the price they quote you for you’re trade in is not guaranteed until actually trade in date - even if written on signed contract!Long story short. We signed a contract before the long weekend. Went back for our new phones when they came in about 5 days later and we were expecting a certain amount returned to us when we traded in our old phones. (The amount was written on the front of the contract). When we went to trade in the phones the amount she gave us back was $40 less than the original price. (First off that is Breach of contract)Because of new announcements in the few days since we had been there the price for our phones had dropped and her system wouldn’t allow her to give us the previously quoted amount. I understand that her hands were tied and in the long run $40 is not a huge amount but what rubbed me the wrong way was that she was unwilling to apologize for misrepresenting what she would be able to provide. When we had been there originally she said that she may be able to offer us more for our phones but nothing about the price being less. In her position as store manager she would also have been aware that Apple’s announcements were coming out soon which would affect the price. Once again, maybe these things slipped her mind but when I explained to her that they should be divulged to her customers in the future, I was met with more recycled excuses. And when I asked her to just own her mistakes (multiple times) she flat out told me no. This did not sit with me well.I hope others have a better experience, should you choose to shop here. There were a couple of other additional issues with our transaction but the lack of customer service when these mistakes were made is the main reason I suggest going elsewhere for your mobile needs.

The sales associate was not honest and upfront. I'm with Koodo and she should have mentioned right from the start that Koodo charges a $50 connection fee when you shop in person and that fee is waived if you buy a phone online. Instead, she waited until I purchased a phone in store and the transaction was complete and then said oh by the way

If you are planning to get a phone avoid this location. You will be surprised when your bill comes and the promotions they promised are not applicable. They blame their mistakes on system error and glitches". They refuse to take accountability and will gladly argue with you for hours on end. I regret ever stepping foot in the mobile shop."

Worst experience. Went there to get new phone and number. But employee Raj Ahluwalia was too busy on his phone texting and calling that he ignored me for 15 minutes and i was only one in the store. He kept me waiting and waiting even after i told him what i am here for. I don’t recommend this store if you're looking for professional service. They are far away from customer service.

Purchased an Iphone 14 from the mobile shop. Was given a false promise that a home service discount would be applied every month. The discount was only applied 1 month out of the 6. The mobile shop was unable to solve the problem or provide an efficient solution. The solution that they provided was constantly extending the contract. I would not recommend anyone to purchase their phone from here, I have been suffering for 6 months because of it.

Horrible experience! We signed the contract, paid for our new phones, but they weren't in stock. They had to order in. We went back to the store and picked up our new phones, but had to pay more $$$. That wasn't in the contract, so the store manager changed the agreement (contract) that was already paid for and signed. My wife talked to a lawyer and found the store is breaching the contract. Very dishonest and unprofessional manager.

I've been to this location multiple times and I have received nothing but impeccable customer service, everytime I've come I've always been greeted with a huge smile; aman has gone above and beyond to make sure I have gotten the best deal possible, thanks to her I've gotten a new phone and left happy as well.

Best mobile shop in the town all staff give excellent service i bought 3 phone Aman helped me here alot in everything i recommend everyone to visit this location
