Ms. Maya is a great piano teacher. My 5 years old little girl started her piano journey with Ms. Maya. She enjoys every minutes playing piano and always wants to learn more. The lessons are not only professional but also having a lot of fun. We definitely will continue the classes, highly recommended.

My son takes piano lessons with Maya and I feel so fortunate to have her as his teacher. Maya has inspired my son with a passion for music. She is teaching him that through dedication and practice he can achieve his goals. We are lucky to have found her.

I can't say enough great things about Maya. She has a great teaching style that she couples with a very modern twist of creativity. Her lessons are individually driven, but she also works to blend students in small groups. My son has grown not only musically, but in other tangible ways by practicing and performing on stage by himself.

Ms.Maya’s teaching method is systematic, my daughter progresses steadily, and gains confidence from her encouragement.My son has also developed a passion for learning how to play the piano.Ms.Maya is a very wonderful, talented, and funny instructor! Her teaching method is thorough and instructive, and she emphasizes the importance of basic technique, as well as expressing your feelings through every piece. She helps students to refine their technique and skills, and develops their interests in playing the piano. However, Ms.Maya doesn’t only teach technique. She teaches you to be passionate, and makes the piano experience fun and unforgettable! I appreciate how she shapes her lessons so that they adapt to different level learners, and teaches everyone patiently. Ms.Maya also takes the time to type out a specific practice plan for her students. She is a very responsible teacher, and seems to plan out all her lessons very well.My kids have had lessons with Ms.Maya for over a year now. They prefer in-person lessons so that they can see their wonderful teacher, but that’s currently impossible due to COVID-19. The quality of our online learning is the same as in-person learning however. Ms.Maya also has a very good ear, and can even detect mistakes or problems in my kids’ playing through a computer! About a week earlier, she detected a problem with our metronome that we hadn’t discovered previously. We’re very thankful for that!I highly recommend Viva Piano Studio to you.
