I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Ace of Fades barber shop in town, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was inviting, and the staff greeted me with genuine warmth. The barber's expertise and attention to detail resulted in a flawless haircut that left me feeling confident and satisfied.

This place has a bad combination of subpar, amateur service and relatively high prices. For this price range (30+ CAD/cut) I expect a quality haircut. During my last visit the barber apparently didn't use clean blade for the shave which later was reflected in neck skin inflammation, more over the cut was not symmetric. Stay away, there are better places in town. I definitely won't be back.

Had a trim by the owner last time best hair cut i have had in there. The lads generally give good cuts but are quick to jump to a clippers vs scissors cuts.

I’ve been coming to this place since they first opened and haircuts were $17 a piece. Over the years, the price of a cut has gone up but the quality of cuts and management has gone down.After my third time booking an appointment and having the barber not show up without any communication, I’m left with no choice but to take my business elsewhere. Used to be my go to but not anymore. Maybe they changed owners but it seems like their reputation no longer matters.Very disappointed.

Had a good haircut the first time; second time not. Booked a time slot on the website, but after 30 mins of waiting past that slot just had to leave so I wasn’t late for another appointment. Delays happen, but a 30+ min delay on a 30 min haircut without any acknowledgement from any staff is not great.tld;dr - Don’t bother booking a time slot, just walk in..

I’m new to Calgary, and this place was recommended to me by a friend. It’s as great as advertised! The staff was very professional, and friendly! They all knew what they were doing. plus, they really make you feel welcomed! Overall this is an amazing establishment, and I highly recommend it!
