Excellent stock and friendly staff. Very much appreciate that they'll cake up skeins and they've always been extremely accommodating. Building is older so there are some low steps to contend with, but overall very accessible for mobility aids with generous spacing and easy access to displays.

I went to Beehive Wool Shop today and am so glad I did! I had been in the store once before and had a good experience. This time I was considering ordering online, but I needed some advice regarding yarn selection for a sweater. This is only the second sweater I will have knit, so I had a lot of questions. I received such great customer service! All my questions were answered and I left with some beautiful yarn. Here it is swatched (pre-blocking) and wow! So excited to knit this into a sweater. Will definitely be returning!

Staff were fun, friendly, and helped me pick out quality yarn for a crochet project that was still relatively affordable. So grateful as a beginner that they were so willing to answer my questions.My only critique is that because they specialize on such high-quality yarn, it can be hard to find affordable yarn for smaller projects you wouldn't want to spend as much on (like little amigurumi projects) where you need small quantities of many different colours. That said, there were a few amigurumi-oriented kits of smaller quantities.

So much yarn!! I love all the inspirational projects everywhere and each one has a tag that tells you how much yarn you need and where to get the pattern so you can make it yourself. Such a smart idea. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I noticed they also have a drop in help session so if you need help with a project. I love that. Bought a few felting kits and some new knitting needles. Will be back for more!
