LTR Construction Projects

We hired Lukas and LTR after reviewing his scores online, and interviewing multiple contractors. He was pleasant and attentive to start. Lukas was hired to complete a basement improvement. He initially quoted us around a month to complete the job. After 5 and a half months of constant effort to get him and his guys to come finish our basement, he finally just stopped answering the phone. We decided it would not be worth taking him to small claims court based on the cost we would incur, and decided to instead hire a reliable confident contractor to pick up the pieces that were our basement.... The new contractor still took an entire month to complete the job, but had to correct multiple issues (apparently Lukas does not use a confident plumber as we had plumbing issues and another review talks about plumbing problems at a different job). I do not recommend Lukas or anyone from LTR construction. He may seem good in your initial consultation, but i can promise the service will rapidly decline. I'm surprised any of his projects actually get done, and he has any positive reviews. Must be from family or friends...

We hired Lukas for a bathroom renovation. He gutted our bathroom after he told us it would take 2 weeks to do the whole job. We ended up firing him after a month and a half, and he wouldn't refund a portion of our deposit, which was 50% of the budget. He absolutely did not complete 50% of the renovation, and had given us every excuse under the sun as to why he was not able to show up to finish the job. Be very wary of this contractor, as he will tell you every reason why he is not able to show up, and then he will stop answering his phone.... BEWARE!!!

Had Lukas and his crew come out to pour a sidewalk and small pad for a shed at our acreage. There was substantial delays, some understandable (weather) and some not so much (apparently concrete plant ran out of concrete?). They finally showed up to do the work and we’re very fast and did a good job, other than the fact that they didn’t do a smooth finish in the pad as previously discussed. Also, while on-site, their concrete truck smashed into my burn barrel (I live on an acreage) and destroyed it. No one told me about the incident until I got home and saw it for myself. I sent Lukas the security camera footage and he told me he would replace it, no problem. That was 4 months ago and after several tries to get this sorted out, he has now stopped answering calls/texts. It was a small issue that could have and should have been fixed very easily.

I am extremely happy with the work we had done by LTR construction. We had our existing deck redone and a large additional deck at another level added, plus a pergola and stairs/ railing. Lucas and his team did exceptional work. They exceeded our expectations. The work was done quickly, professionally and they left the site clean and complete. Truly excellent work and so fast! They were here for 4 days and it was complete. Amazing!!

LTR Construction completed a full renovation on our 20+ year old home. It was close to a four month renovation, however, Lukas worked with us and kept pushing forward to accomplish our expectations.

Posting for a friend who was too nervous to post this. LTR did such an abhorrent job on my friends en suite bathroom renovation that she eventually had to fire him. Never there when he said he would be, never brought the right tools, always had to leave to 'pick something else up because he forgot it' ect ect. My friend is a single mother who hired LTR because of their 'sterling' reputation and now she is dealing withe the consequences. Highly recommend looking elsewhere.

LTR is the only contractor I trust! The quality of work is outstanding. I have used so many contractors and it has always ended badly. With LTR the job is done promptly, and is always better than I could have ever anticipated. Reasonable prices, but with high-end quality! I could not recommend anyone better for any of you project needs!!

Lukas is very detailed oriented and did an amazing job on our kitchen!

Had renovations completed after water damage and was very pleased with Lukas's work. Lukas is very friendly, personable and professional. I would 100% recommend him for any renovation task.

Hired LTR to do a really easy facelift in our kitchen in Sherwood Park. We wanted the cabinets refaced and room for a bigger fridge (built in). He took off all the cabinet doors and told us it would be about a week and a half to get them back. It ended up taking over a month. Our kitchen was totally torn apart and we had nothing but issues trying to get an answer out of Lukaz as to why it was taking so long. He blamed the refacing company he was using, but we also had a lot a trouble getting the hole cut bigger for the fridge. We had to live around the mess (drywall dust and exposed 2x4) for over a month. I was really disappointed with the quality of the drywall/framing that surrounds our fridge. The paint is super lumpy and I don't think the drywall got sanded enough. Anyways, awful job all around, terrible communicator and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
