Mary Brown's Administration Office - NO RESTAURANT

We have just found Mary Browns in Port Elgin, Ontario and have visited twice. The Diner is very clean and friendly. We were greeted by a very friendly lady who showed us to your seats with no waiting. The server, Amanda explained the menu and was very helpful as I have a dietary problem. I would recommend this new dining experience to all my family and friends.Thanks you for a great experience, we will be back many times.

Waterloo location - On August 17 I went onto their app and ordered food to come to the office. They used skip the dishes to deliver the food. The food was picked up at approximately 12:45 PM by the Skip the dishes. I went onto the GPS for Skip the dishes and watch for that deliver. On the delivery I asked at a guy that is delivering to give me a call and I would meet him at the front doors because I don’t building the doors locked. When the GPS indicated that driver would be at the location in six minutes I quickly went downstairs to the front doors and waited for him. Then I got a text saying that the food was delivered at the location. I never saw the driver nor did I never received the food where is my food. I can’t and they told me that once a delivery leaves the store they are responsible. I was to call skip the dishes. On the text said if I wanted to chat with the generator to click on the chat. I asked for my delivery was and he said it was delivered then I asked where did you deliver it and he ended the chat. I went onto the website for Skip the dishes and sent an email to head office. They replied and asked me for the receipt. I sent them the receipt and they came back saying the responsibility is at Mary Brown’s location in Waterloo. These two businesses are blaming each other. August 18 I went into the Mary Brown’s location where I requested the delivery from. I spoke with the girl at the counter and she went back to speak with her manager. She showed her manager at the receipt, $67.12 that I had paid, and did not receive the food. She came back and advised me that they would contact Skip the dishes and asked for my phone number name and email address and that they would reimburse me within 24 to 48 hours. Well it’s been three days and I still have not received an email, phone calls, no reimbursement. This is a lot of money to pay and not receive the product. I want my reimbursement!

Why I am still angry, I do not know. Early in the pandemic when you could only buy takeout food my friend and I went to Mary Browns on King St. In Oshawa Ontario. We ordered sandwiches and my friend got hers first so she waited by the door and put her jacket over a chair to wait for me. The owner (?) began screaming at her thst she couldn't sit down (which she wasn't planning to do). All this in front of other people. She went back to the car while I paid and then went to pick up condiments. I have arthritis (70 years old at the time)and the wet wipes are slippery. I got yelled at for taking more than two. I was embarrassed and left with her still screaming at me. I complained to head office but have never heard back. Will NEVER eat at any of your stores again.

corporate needs to take a closer look at pricing.Mary Browns 18 pc chicken only ($61) 18 pc chicken only at KFC only ($43)...duh...guess where I'm going.

Bought Mary Browns gift cards for Christmas, turns out they were sold to us with zero balances. Now we can't get our money back. No one at Mary Browns will answer our communications! They don't even talk to their franchise owners. One star given because I couldn't post without it. You guys are terrible! Shame on you!!!Update..finally heard back and things have improved. Replacement cards in the mail. We'll see.

received a flyer with specials on it. when I tried to place my order I was told the flyer was for pick up only, not delivery, yet no where on the flyer does it state this. I have twice written to Mary Brown's contact us" site but have not received a reply to either e-mail. Mary's was the only place I got my chicken

I already wrote a review on Mary Browns located on Wellington in London Ontario. I felt compelled to write another review. But my review was at the top of the page. So I figured I would let Head Office know. This location is doing it right. The product is always amazing well prepared fresh. The staff is extremely friendly. I believe they could lead the way as a prime example on how to run an successful Mary Brown’s Franchise. They at least deserve recognition. For a job extremely well done! Just a patron. I’ve been here a bunch of times. I have yet to be disappointed.

If I could give this place a zero I would. Their staff at the restaurant and at the head office are both extremely unprofessional. I had called to complain and instead of compensating me for the almost $70 spent on a family meal, they leave me waiting for 3 weeks only to send me a $20 gift card. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME VISITING MARY BROWN'S UNLESS YOU WANT FOOD POISONING!

Not a restaurant, don't know why people are reviewing different locations on the head office. Go visit that locations page instead to leave your review.MBs big mary is the best =D
