Scott Arthur Millwork went over and beyond my expectations on our house renovations. The first thing I noticed was actually the reviews online and the fact that people were willing to sit down and write in depth reviews of the outstanding work they completed. The photos alone speak volumes, but to me the relationship with the company is just as important. The work that they do is truly an art form that I would personally not trust anyone but the professional staff at Scott Arthur. From the initial contact with owner, Shawn Tiltgen, my wife and I were impressed with his experience and knowledge in the industry. We met his team for the first time at the shop and had an opportunity to sit down and discuss our potential project with them all.We found Scott Arthur price wise came in higher then other quotes, however seeing their shop and discussing with them, their process, materials and the quality of the end result pretty much solidified our decision. There was no question after that initial meeting with Shawn and his team, that they were for us. Over the period of design Shawn and Will came out to our house numerous times to look at the site, take measurement and this gave us a chance to discuss details that we wanted. Throughout the project, whenever we had questions or requested changes Shawn and his team were there and always ensured that we were happy. The quality and craftsmanship of the cabinets were outstanding. Will, in the shop is not only a master at his craft but flexible with change; when we decided in the middle of our project to modify cabinetry for our liking. Just another nod to the great relationship and trust we had with this company.Moving on to the install, once again by no surprise the installers were masters of their trade. Although we had not previously met with them, they were professional throughout the whole process. We were still living onsite (in our basement) and with two young children. They were respectful to our requests and ensured the site was clean and safe throughout the renovations. Also worth mentioning, we had brand new hardwood flooring installed previous to the cabinet install and they ensured extra caution was taken there as well. We also had a very large feature wall in our kitchen where we found the installers took extra time with us to customize trim details to feature our hood fan. We were given many different options (look wise) on the trim before we decided to go with the one we did but they mocked up a few right in our driveway for us to make the final decision. They wanted to ensure once again that everything was exactly what we wanted. Just recently, we had them come back out to do some warranty work which to be honest was nothing. They repaired the top of a cabinet door that was damaged by the countertop company when our under mount sink was installed. Although it was not their mistake they made sure it was fixed.Without a doubt, I would refer Shawn and his team to anyone that asked. In fact we have referred Scott Arthur Millwork to many people already. Whenever we have someone in our house for the first time, or for that matter, the tenth time, they mention our kitchen and how beautiful it is! The investment is a large one but the final product that you will receive from Scott Arthur Millwork is worth it. We received exactly what Shawn promised quality wise and after all the changes we made, we did not have up charges on anything. From my experience in renovations, a lot of companies promise a lot and to save cost in quotes the quality of the product goes down and corners are cut. Or those same companies continue with similar promises in the quote and then up charge later in the project to recover the costs. In the end you actually end up potentially paying more then the most expensive quote. Scott Arthur Millwork will follow through with all of their promises and leave you with a product that you will want to brag to and show everyone in your life!

Shawn, Jemmah and their Team were all a pleasure to work with, were extremely helpful and work hard to produce a high quality product resulting in a magnificent kitchen and dining room we’ll enjoy for many years. Everybody was professional and took pride in their work, and went out of their way to bring our renovation vision to completion in a timely manner. I would highly recommend them.

Excellent service and amazing furniture from Shawn and his team at Scott Arthur Millwork! Their attention to detail and the quality of their work is second to none. Their attention to detail and quality is world class, and they never let us down. They were partnered with us to manufacture and install trophy cabinets at the Go Center. We worked with Shawn at Scott Arthur Millwork for our basement bar and vanity. Shawn was approachable and very easy to work with. He offered custom designs and drawings to truly bring the project alive, even before starting construction. During the planning, we were allowed to customize our cabinets as much as we wanted, from colour and choosing cabinet doors to choosing types of joins and hardware. The product is stunning! The installers were timely and respectful, working with us to ensure we were totally happy with the end product. The cabinets are beautiful and high quality!We would not hesitate to work with Scott Arthur again for our next Millwork project!

We had the pleasure of working with Shawn and the Scott Arthur Team for our new house. They built our custom kitchen, Built ins for our great room, primary bedroom, and custom desk in our office. We first met with Shawn at the beginning stages of our custom built home in Fall of 2020. We knew after that first meeting we wanted Scott Arthur to do our kitchen. He was friendly and professional and laid out every step of the process to create a custom kitchen, gave us a tour of the shop and we went over our budget which was very important to us. I came with a huge binder of inspiration for our kitchen and built ins and working previously as a designer I was very specific about what I was going for. Shawn and his team allowed me to be part of every design detail from day one to installation. I was sent every email, every draft and they were so patient for months and months until we had it just perfect before going into production. It was a very smooth process and we felt very taken care of. They were organized and professional in how they handled everything from the drawings and drafts, to how the payment plan was laid out, to the quotes and how production worked. We always felt at ease and never had to worry. It was a really good feeling to have total trust and know the outcome would be amazing. It helped ease our stress during our build significantly. We worked together for months and months going every detail of our custom kitchen and built ins and they were always so helpful and so quick to get back to me and very organized in our they communicated. Being someone that pays attention to details this went a long way for me and something we really appreciated. Fast forward to our installation this August and seeing our stunning new kitchen and built ins was like a DREAM come true!!! It was (is) in our eyes the most beautiful kitchen we've ever seen... The craftsmanship - every detail inside and out is exceptional and exceeded our expectations.
