Was told my visitors don’t registered and pay $2.00 registration fee, when I asked them they said they pay and they call their office to testify, few of them told me they just took their $2.00 and never get their name, I understand the policy, but I did not understand they advertise this is a family campground and my stepchildren are visitors needs to be registered when I said they come with us every week end, Gary told me he google our place and my house is too small to live my children there, he google my place for the cost of $2.00 total of $4.00 for my 2 stepchildren , just for $4.00 , they even ask for a paper court , I said I will not give you our personal legal battle as my husband is still fighting it incourt. I heard the story the same like this they don’t have a good reputation now I believe ... leaving here soon

Reviewing Campgrounds around Nova Scotia and this was one of the nicest so far, two pools! (One for Adults, one for Families), very clean washrooms, decorated with 3 shower enclosures and large counters and infant change tables (in both Male and Female) , HUGE field of play area, playground and activities (mostly weekend planned activities)Check out was really late (relaxed extension end of busy season perhaps?)I'd like to recommend you consider this place first, the price, services, staff and location are ideal. A restaurant area of the Main Office building was not used, but it appears to be canteen and recreation area.Wireless Internet access was great, we were able to plan more of our trip without leaving our RV.

Nice well kept campground and mostly friendly seasonal campers. Our first night there was nice but the second night, not so nice. We had the adult campers, who seemed well known on the grounds, who parked next to us and them and their children traveled through our campsite constantly. The children circled our campsite with their bicycles coming very close to our camper and vehicle. The parents walked through our campsite so I guess the children just followed suit... no respect for the camping neighbors and very uncomfortable for us. The site we were at seemed to have an over abundance of through traffic, (people coming through and sidetracking our site.. Also no Wifi for the campers except at the main building. All other campgrounds we camped at during this summer had Wifi for us to enjoy inside our camper.

Absolutely I loved our experience here. We had plans to go camping at another campground but had to change last minute because of the high price. I called Klahanie and they we're able to book two sites side by side even though they told me they may not be able to. Someone must have cancelled and they moved us together before I even got there. The staff were really sweet, the price of ice was low, the pools were fantastic, and the campsite we had was under tree cover but we still had a breeze. I will definitely be going back with my family and I would recommend this campground to anyone. Glad we were able to experience it

Edit: staff has recently reached out and rectified the situation. Our trip has been rebooked and We look forward to making more memories here.Been going to this Campground for over a decade and always found the staff and owners very helpful, but the new ownership doesn’t seem too keen to help. We tried to rebook due to a heat warning making it unsafe for us to camp with our infant and they refused to do anything but cancel our reservation and keep our money. Very sad since we have been long time customers and now have to find a new place to spend our family vacations.

From the Montgomery family to the Smith family, this campground has been a huge part of my life, from days of tenting, graduating to pop-ups to seasonal and I absolutely love it there! And I'll be back!

We had lots of fun! The washrooms were very clean and had been recently renovated. There were plenty of options for families, and the Mini Golf was great, too. We came a bit too early for the pool, but it would've been fun.

This campground has tons of potential but needs a lot of work. A lot of stuff advertised on the website is non operational .( mini golf, adult pool, kids water slide , ) there is no dock as shown online. The deck around the pool is spongy and rotten. May come back in a few years if things look like they have improved.

We had a great stay here! The pool was great and well maintained, the playground area was great for the kids and the lot sizes are very spacious. Staff come around and keep you posted in what's happening. Seasonals were so friendly. The renovations in the bathroom are in progress but I think it will look so nice when it's done. Very clean. Nice staff. Definitely will be back

Student Review: The staff here are very helpful and they have a nice campground. They have dedicated cooking and dishwashing spaces as well as many activities to do and a pool for the kids. One of the problems was that the campsites were covered in sand which made the tents get sandy. Also, a door on the showers, instead of just a curtain, would have given them more privacy. The common room in the main building was a fun space with games and puzzles plus comfortable places to sit, however it smelled like cigarettes. Most of the items in the shop were reasonably priced and there was a wide selection of candy.
