Poor management , parking problems all the time cars are getting towed away every day while they have more than 100 free spots to park , facilities are ready after long time , fire alarm problem almost everyday , bad quality materials been used on the house , the unit is not even painted only prime , windows are not sealed , all entrance doors are damaged on construction time and its mot fixed yet . Still construction going on after 2 years

I purchased Vanguard because its economically friendly and its in good location, it appeared to me as a perfect place for family to live in. Staffs were very helpful for color selection and explaining amenity features.

I purchased at the vanguard for its clean aesthetic and high quality design. The environmental aspect of the green building was also a huge factor in this decision. I'm very happy to have purchased here and looking forward to living in this growing, vibrant community.

Just as the other recent reviews have echoed, we have grown increasingly frustrated with living at the Vanguard.I can’t fault Devron for the state of parking here - although having my niece’s car towed for parking in the wrong visitor’s parking spot at a cost of over $400 was still upsetting - or the insecure doors that have led to multiple break and enters, or the amenities that have been damaged due to “owner misuse”, there are build and quality issues that mainly concern me.When we first moved in there were on-going issues with the elevators. We even dropped a few feet riding them a couple times. We were told construction staff were using the non-moving elevators and causing all the issues. So basically nothing could be resolved until construction was complete. This pretty much sums up what quickly became apparent as soon as we moved in - Devron rushed completion and we are now left with build issues that potentially may be more significant and costly in the future.The last I heard about the main 3rd floor shared terrace space was that it wasn’t the City of Markham that was holding up the release as the posted signs had claimed, but that it was Devron that had not taken the final step. I heard this was also the case for the front park area, that Devron specifically would not move forward at this time. Is this true? And if so, is there an anticipated timeline for completion? Are we to assume we will not be able to enjoy either space for another year? I guess I would just like to know if possible.We had a small leak in our bedroom window. We were told the reason was because the unit above us had their window open. Why would a unit owner not be able open their own window without fear of causing damage to someone else’s property?Our kitchen cabinets are unfinished where they meet in the corner. Photo attached. We were told this was just how it was, unfinished and exposed. Seemed like a small thing at the time, but after all of the major issues going on it bothers me even more now. Everything looks nice on its face but if look a little longer the deficiencies in craftsmanship and workmanship are clearly evident.It saddens me that I am even writing this here versus being able to go to the Board or Property Management office. But there is no clear way to communicate with the Board, we are not allowed to attend meetings and they hardly ever respond by email. The Property Management office seems quite busy with all the issues going on and a number of residents have felt tension with this office and lost trust that they will deal with their concerns.You are supposed to come home and feel safe and less stressed. I honestly don’t look forward to dealing with any of this on such a consistent basis with seemingly no reprieve.

We purchased a condo with Vanguard last July, and we can't wait to move into our new place! The process of picking upgrades and features for our new home were made easily thanks to their staff at the Vanguard.

I purchased with the Vanguard. We are very excited to be moving into this building. The area looks great and Devron Developments have done an amazing job with the design. It is very modern, stylish and is designed to be environmentally friendly as well. The finishes and the options available in customizing our own unit are really great. There are so many choices to make our living area more comfortable and to meet our needs and wants! They were also very helpful in helping us to make our choices and were able to answer all of our questions! It is very evident that Devron Developments are stellar at what they do. They have designed a spectacular building and we cannot wait to move in.

Had color selection today and Rosa was very helpful! Excited to move to the Vanguard. Like the location, high quality standard finishes, and that it is an energy efficient building.

Great developer. I'm so glad I purchased a unit at Vanguard. Just had a great experience at colour selection. Very excited to see the completed building!

Looking forward to the actual finished product...building.From the first time that I saw the plans for this building , I knew that it was special. This will be a building that other condo development will strive to emulate.Lastly, the staff has been exceptional and very helpful along the way.Congratulations and looking forward to see what other projects you plan to build in the future.
