My fiancé and I had the pleasure of having Move Ottawa assist us with our move from Toronto to Ottawa. They offered competitive rates and were very quick with the move out and move in. Both gentlemen were careful with our items and made sure to put all boxes in the appropriate rooms.There was a small issue concerning the moving truck having a bit of a leak and getting some of our items a little wet, but customer service made sure that we were happy and compensated us for the items that got soaked.I would definitely recommend Move Ottawa to anyone looking for a fast, efficient and honest company.Thank you!

I had a really wonderful experience with Move-Ottawa. Jeff and Pat arrived right on time (9am) to move me from Toronto to Ottawa, were fast, professional, and friendly, and took great care of my stuff. They were equally fantastic during the unload in Ottawa. They followed COVID protocols. The price was great (much lower than all of the other quotes I got from other companies) and the customer service was really responsive and helpful. I will be recommending this company often!

I used this company for my move awhile ago now back in late October, for my move from Ottawa to Montreal. Having already done a long distance move previously, with a bad experience with movers I was nervous and apprehensive.But I'm happy to say my experience with MoveOttawa was great. I received prompt email responses to any questions/concerns I had (I was moving in the same day previous tenants were moving out). My two movers were on time and moved efficiently and quickly. Friendly guys, they made the whole experience super easy for me and got all my things into my new place no problem!After previous bad experience with moving, this was such a relief. Would happily use them again if I had a move in the Ottawa area.

Move Ottawa came to my rescue when the initial company I tried to go with for my long distance move kept pulling sneaky tricks and issued a different final quote shorty before the scheduled move. Move Ottawa gives you a fair and honest quote when you give them an accurate assessment of what is to be moved. I used them twice and paid the same price as what I was quoted. One other well-known company I tried to get a quote from was clearly trying to take advantage and have an overnight party at a hotel at my expense, given the ridiculousness of the quote. Move Ottawa is reliable.

Very negative experience dealing with Move Ottawa.We essentially hired them because of all of the great reviews so we were really optimistic.The only positive about them was that the movers were very courteous and friendly.For the estimate, we sent our home listing pictures, a video and photos of all extra storage items not shown in the listing.They came back to us with a quote guaranteed for a 24ft truck, and if it doesn’t fit they send another for free.Moving day is here, and guess what? The truck doesn’t fit.No extra truck free of charge and the reason is because when we were asked about the number of boxes on the phone we estimated the box count wrong.Although during the estimation process the pictures and videos we sent showed all items that had to be moved (which eventually made it into the boxes) along with a description of which appliances were included or not.The result was: we had to pay them almost an extra $1000 to get us another smaller truck to move the rest of our stuff … 2 days later!So our move basically took 3 days between 2 provinces.Among the other negative points we experienced with them was:The arrived late on the morning of the first move, and it took way longer than expected because they only sent 2 men for a 3 men job (moving a 4 bedroom house), they arrived at the other house in the dark and they were obviously exhausted, so they left a ton of stuff in the garage for when they come back in 2 days.The second move: They came on time but with a huge truck, bigger than what we agreed on, took our stuff, made another move with empty portion left in the truck, and again arrived late and exhausted at our house in the dark and again stuff were left in the wrong place.They also didn’t wrap all furniture as agreed, our fridge was damaged during the move (discovered that a couple of weeks after when it stopped freezing)They damaged our beds by reassembling them incorrectly, forcing parts that didn’t fit together essentially breaking them (not a good practice for ikea beds.It’s been over a year and I still remember much of the details that made this such an awful experience.Stay away from them if you’re planning a big move.

Very Highly RecommendedWe wanted to move several items from Ottawa to Toronto. Mo gave us a very fair deal on a consolidated move, which was perfect for us.The whole team was extremely responsive and helpful. Mo responded to any questions almost instantly and when I wanted to add an additional item, he let me do so without additional charge.We were delighted with the company and highly recommend.

Jeff and Pat helped me move a 1 bedroom. They were great at disassembling and re-assembling my bed and couch. I also have an antique treasure chest which they handled with a lot of care. They were super friendly, made me feel Covid safe, and the price was very reasonable. Office was also great to deal with and responded to all of my questions about insurance. I can’t believe I use to move using buddies when this was so much easier. Would 100 percent recommend.
