These ladies make some amazing food!! The turkey club is my fav but, haven't eaten anything I didn't like. Lots of it is hand made, not from a box. Milkshakes are real ice cream! We're drive out from Hope, BC all the time. Well worth it :)

Cool authentic dinner next to the highway nr 1 at yale. With fair prices, huge homemade dishes and friendly and fast staff/service. Thats how a real highway dinner should be :)

The service was fantastic! I had their dinner special, which I have nicknamed 'The last chance special' I could of gotten fresher leftovers from my own fridge unfortunately. The trifle was a nightmare. I worked many years waitressing, and that should not be served to people, that is not a trifle in my opinion. Lol. The fries were fresh, my husband enjoyed those. However, I will definitely be going back to try their breakfast! Absolutely nothing beats great service! The waitress was a total sweetheart, so will give them another shot!They live up to their reviews in customer service. Will update this once we try the breakfast.. that has to be fresh and their pictures look delicious!

We were on a little day trip adventure to Yale and decided to pop in for a early dinner. I had the fish and chips (as did my mom, dad had the ground serlion).We were amazed by the generous portions and how much you get for your money. My fish and chips came with a small soup, side salad and dessert! Incredible value for your money. And everything tasted fantastic! And our server was friendly and helpful with the menu.The photos I've posted are of the pie I bought as takeout (so good) and the fish and chips photo is just the leftover I had for lunch the next day. The fish and chips comes with two fish and a generous portion of real cut fries (not the frozen stuff).Absolutely recommend this place and I hope to go back again soon!

We absolutely LOVE this place. Small truck stop type location on Hwy 1 just north of Hope, BC. Food is always fresh and made in house. An owner operated place and the pride of quality shows. Always home made soup and desserts available daily. Prices are fair, and represent good value. You can eat a quality meal for little more than a franchised fast food outletIf you're in the area, or inclined to take a relaxing drive. Don't miss this place. You'll be glad you stopped.

Been coming here off and on for 10 years. One of the last remaining old guard" of Hwy 1 diners. Filled with trucker related nostalgia adorning the walls and usually a hockey game on the tv. Service has always been great and the food... I'd recommend one of the burgers if you wanna be really full and satisfied for the rest of the day."
