Dr. Ian Lo

Dr Lo is one of the most capable shoulder surgeons around. I cross referenced him multiple ways and had a successful surgery with him. The risk of Google reviews is that anyone including your kids friends can throw in an anonymous review. Ignore the one star and checkout RateMD when researching a physician.

Dr. Lo is AMAZING! You would be LUCKY to have him as your surgeon. I am thankful he is TRAINING other fellows we need more surgeons like him. My tendon repair operation was very SUCCESSFUL, NO ISSUES whatsoever! Other surgeons said they would have to make a large incision to find the tendon or that the surgery would not be successful, he was able to do it with an almost UNNOTICEABLE incision and WITH EASE. Also he is SUPER NICE (I mean VERY VERY NICE) —Amazing bedside manner! Even though I was in distress and not in the best mind-space he was POSITIVE and was able to HELP me out. I initially damaged my shoulder 40 years ago skiing. At that time I was told to take up bowling (truly). Re-injured 2+ years ago. Dr. Lo repaired my Bankart fracture, torn rotator cuff and torn labrum. 11 months since my surgery and it is completely pain free. Dr Lo performed surgery on my shoulder about 4 years ago now. I waited 5 years to finally get refered to a surgeon and thank god he took on the challenge. I suffered for 5 years barely able to brush my teeth, hair, anything with my left arm (I am left handed). I was hoping for a little improvement, anything would be better than what I had. Today my shoulder is 100%! As good as it was when I was 18 years old! Absolutely amazing work. Thank you Dr Lo, I highly recommend and fully endorse Dr Lo's abilities as a surgeon.

I was referred to Dr. Lo early to mid 2020. His office passed me down to a Dr Daliwal. My appointment was in Dec 2020. Daliwal said Dr. Lo won't see you unless you've done physio therapy first. So I went to physio. I expected them to book me a recall. Never happened. Now I'm told I have to book the recall. I called, now I have to wait to see a different Dr. there first. Because an appointment with Dr.Lo is an 6 to 8 month wait. If you go to Dr. Lo website that is not what his website claims. This is copied from his website. Dr. Lo is a fantastic doctor, great bedside manners, he is funny and makes you feel very much at ease.

Dr Lo is the best of the best orthopedic shoulder surgeon in the whole world!! I strongly recommend him to everyone!! He has done 3 shoulder repairs on me. And one on my son. I have a complete full range of motion on both shoulders and so does my sonHe is completely amazing. He also has the best bedside manor of any dr or surgeon I have ever met. And I have had 21 surgeries to date . He is friendly and kind and really cares about his patientsI could never say enough good things about him. He is absolutely amazing!!
