Saw an Indian Pipe or ghost plant along the trail this time. I've never seen one before. It's a nice peaceful trail most of the time.

We really liked this trail, a good length, some elevation challenge and it is really well taken care of.

Mi'kmawey Debert Interpretive Trail
Nice trail, not too long or challenging, but offers a surprising number of small elevation changes given how flat the surrounding area generally is. Interpretive signs discussing the indigenous history of the area are good, covering topics such as tools and historical climate change, at a level laypeople can understand. This site is of particular interest because Debert is one of the most northeastern Clovis sites in North America (perhaps the most northeast, I can't recall).

Mi'kmawey Debert Interpretive Trail
Discovered this path, thanks to a family member. Told me they drive by it all the time, but never been. The trail is about 4.4km through the woods, taking you in a fairly big loop. As you go along, there are several signs, outlining some of the history of the Mi'kmaq. The trailitswlf jad a number of benches al9ng the way to rest, which may be needed, as their are stairs, steep slopes, and tree roots covering the trail, making it a little more difficult of a hike. The trail itself is fairly easy to follow, thoigh at one or two spots it was not easy to make out. As well, there are a couple dirt roads and other trails criss crossing over some areas, and branching off others. While not on the map at the beginning of the park, the adventurous could go off on them, just make sure not to lose your way.Overall, a nice little hike that should take around 1.5 to 2 hours to do, depending on speed. Word of caution for those with small children or others with possible mobility issues, parts of the path are not easy sometimes.
