I thought someone's cat got trapped in my compost bin but when the officer came out he discovered it was a raccoon. I felt silly for not knowing the difference, but he took care of the situation by letting the raccoon loose into the ravine, something that I would have been too scared to do. Thank you Greg for your patience and your service!

Very hard to use website, reroutes to other city departments. Can't connect to Animal Services. Frustrated, gave up.

Staff were amazing, they clearly have a good knowledge of how to match dogs with people. The building may needupgrading but it was spotless and didnt smell bad. I lke the fact that the dogs get to be outside in pens for part of the day. The low adoption fee means there is no excuse for not getting dog licenced, vaccinated, insured.

I don’t recommend fostering to adopt prior to the cat being spayed. My kitten has had some post spay issues requiring additional surgery and apparently since the spay has been completed I am responsible for all charges despite it being a spay related issue. I am talking about $350+ that I am paying in addition to the adoption fee which includes the spay.. Lovely employees and despite this I would consider adopting again, but I am never fostering to adopt again.

My experience with the St.Thomas Animal Shelter exceeded my expectation.They have amazing staff that are genuinely interested in taking care of the animals. They have such care and compassion with the animals much as the person along with them.I fully recommend this establishment and truly appreciate the opportunity to have them help me in a time of need with an animal.

Checking back in often with the cats at the shelter helped me find my perfect little fur baby and I couldn't be happier with her :)
