Kōena Spa

Great place to relax and Great atmosphere. You need more staff at the bar to serve quickly, not a big fan of the line ups, especially when you want to use most of time relaxing. Maybe open a second mobile bar outdoors would be great.

Cozy, relaxing day spa with pleasant ambience. Café has nice espresso and croissant sandwich for breakfast. Lunch and dinner at Ono were both delicious, we loved all of our dishes and drinks. Tuna tartare and squash potage were especially nice ;) Friendly staff and nice service, even the security guard is eager to help with any questions. Perfect getaway for a couple during busy holiday season. Would love to come back again :)

Visited Koena for the evening weekday package.Pros - the spa has everything you’d get at a traditional Scandinavian spa at a fraction of the cost. The aufguss ritual is particularly nice at Koena with fun music and a cozy small sauna. The pink Himalayan salt room is also a nice touch that isn’t available at Nordik.Cons - when we visited, the spa was running at overcapacity. There were no robes available to rent. We were instead given $10 vouchers for drinks. When we went to order our drinks, they were out of many cocktail syrups so drink options were limited. The change rooms/washrooms were also in very poor condition - the trash can was overflowing and there were towels and robes discarded everywhere. It’s clear the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned in a few hours.Koena overall has a lot of potential - it’s well priced and has everything you’d need for a relaxing spa experience. However, given the high volumes of visitors and lack of amenities like clean robes, the spa experience isn’t as “smooth” as you’d perhaps get at Nordik. Would recommend Koena for those looking for a fun and quick spa trip, but don’t expect perfection.

Great alternative to Spa Nordik in Chelsea area especially on a weekday at 6 pm attractive lower prices for you to enjoy 6-10pm visit as a couple or with friends to relax and rejuvenate. Sauna essential oils rituals 7:30 and 8:30pm , very cold 11 degrees Celsius pool dip right after. Dinner at the restaurant has nice menu, we enjoyed salmon, chicken , house salad and truffle fries. Delicious. Great value for money $ for an evening visit. We will be back.

Love and hate with this spa, I'll start with the hate. The staff had no clue about anything other than checking you in and giving you towels. I asked, are the hot tubs all the same temperature and which do you do first the respones was we have 3 hot tubs, ok are they all salt water, i think so. and that's just 1 example. all the guest were just helping each other find all the hidden rooms (of which there are many) and explaining how to you the rooms as these questions seemed to baffle the staff. There is not Instruction on any of the pools or rooms, no map. It was all very confusing and we spoke with about 5 other groups that said the same thing. Just silent signs everywhere which were ignored. We booked massaged they were good except for the bed rocking the entire time because one of the legs were to short which both my wife and I experienced in separate rooms. Also we got the same massage but were charged differently.The good news. It's prob had the most things to do out of any spa I been to which I really enjoyed. If you love a good spa which no staff this is the place for you.Also if you come here 10 min away is Cafe Dough co. Best donuts. I go to a donut shop every city I go to and there are in my top 2 list for sure you must go!

Excellent outdoor spa. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The space was really beautiful and relaxing. We also had lunch at the resto which was really relaxing and yummy and I loved that you can just dine there in your robes! It was a pricey visit overall but for what you get, it was worth a visit!

A very pleasant location, ample parking. When you go in the middle of the day & week, it is considerably less busy. We left at approximately 6pm and there was a lineup at reception.Overall, a good experience. Some of the indoor facilities are under renovations.Outdoor artificial multiple hot springs, with waterfalls for ambiance and huge boulders in the hot pools. There is also a freezing cold pool, with a waterfall that was quite a unique experience in the winter! Multiple sauna types and a very large steam room. Massage was wonderful and when I went to the relaxing" room

This is a good, lower priced alternative to the other Nordik spa in the area. The weekday price and capacity made it a good value for relaxation but I can see where it would be over packed in a weekend. The staff was fantastic and attentive, the spa was clean and well maintained. Given that it wasn't very busy I was surprised that it was a bit of work to get a fresh towel. The restaurant staff was friendly and the food and drinks came quickly. The food tasted good but the price was a little high for portion and presentation. Overall it was a nice getaway and I will be going again on a weekday but likely will not be buying much from the restaurant.

I went with a friend on a week night and took advantage of the lower fee after 6pm. The spa is decently sized, and wasn't too busy when I visited. I loved the warm pools, salt scrub, steam bath, and saunas, and there are cold baths available for those braver than I. Overall, I was impressed with the value, and it's a great alternative to Nordik! I will be back :)
