The LEGO® Store Southgate

Went shopping here with my younger brother (deaf, blind & in a wheelchair) and between two specific staff that we dealt with (Parker and Shilo) this visit went PERFECTLY.Parker was attentive to any question that my younger brother had about the different sets and pieces and didn't matter that it took some time and even helped us make some lego people at the builder station.Then we got to experience Shilo at the Checkout and the Energy they had was a PERFECT end to the shopping experience as everyone was so upbeat.Everything was done to make my brother feel included in the store. Thank you so much!!!

Usually, good staff to deal with the odd one out that takes away from the store. For the most part a good Lego store. I like coming here to buy gifts. I recommend coming here to get Lego as they seem to be well stocked up.

I popped in today with a friend who is a massive Lego collector. I loved the layout of the store, it was spacious, organized, and well lit. I had some fun building my own mini figs to gift to a friend and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back!

Alright let me tell you the tale of the best customer service I have ever had to ask for. Let me take you back a few years.Here we were, my ice cream loving partner and I; and we were on our way home from an event and found ourselves at the DQ in Southgate. Myself, not having had ice cream in years, but wanting to get the dreamsicle for the orange chocolate, got one to humour him, and then continued to humour him by browsing Southgate at 10 minutes to 9: working retail myself, I am aware what a cardinal sin this is.He proceeds to go towards the one-open of the double doors on the Lego store. I pull back. He pushes further. I plead no. He goes in. I follow.Here we are, staring at Lego sets, at 4 minutes to 9 pm on a weekday, and holding ice cream cones in the Lego store made of pristine boxes and immaculate plexiglass displays and massive Lego works, with every tiny crook and cranny of thousands of Lego blocks.And this is the moment that my ice cream cone decides to explode. I mean drop to the floor, splatter in every direction. The sales associate whips into action, a young man bearing a striking but handsomer resemblance to Steve Buschemi, who has been graciously entertaining my partner up until this point, assures us that this ice cream explosion all over his practically closed Lego store, that “THIS IS OK!” as he whips out a mop, while comforting me in my most mortifying moment of my own personal nightmare.So, there is the tale of the best customer service that I had to ask for. And I haven’t had an ice cream since.

Just managed to pick up a set on sale for 40% off which is amazing value so very happy. It also came with 2 free gifts.

Always a great experience for the kids. Staff are so helpful and seem like they really enjoy working there.
