Transit City 1 & 2 - Car Parking

Other posters are all correct. Parking is 3x avg (300$/month) def consider this when considering to live in this condo building.

The parking rates are terrible. The garage doors are very slow to open. The spots are small, narrow and cramped. The corners are small and the spaces available for thw amount of units is laughable. Property management is no help with navigating parking and fixing issues. The lot is dingy, smells terrible and filthy.

It is easier to negotiate parking with local businesses. There’s no need to deal with these jokers @ $300/month

Worst place to live, no visitor parking, no residence parking even if you pay $300, who made this place? who regulates the law in this area? I have never seen a corporation so arrogant not addressing the parking needs of it's residence, it is a rip off place, go rent in downtown better than this..

Parking prices are borderline extortionate. More expensive than parking in downtown Toronto. While there are plenty of spaces at the unused lots around the buildings smartcenters hires security to patrol them and force people into the overpriced lots they own. Smartcenters is a shady business.

SmartCentres bought the condominiums parking lot and charges ridiculous amount for parking. Residents and visitors are forced to pay $30 flat rate for week days and parking pass is $350 a amount. People pay because they otherwise have no choice since SmartCentres basically owns all the parking lots in the area. Very shady business avoid if possible

Parking costs 300 a month with no visitor parking. Such a rip off as other places are only 120 avg a month.

I got $50 tickets 5 times and $300 for 1 time towing so far in 2022. Contacted parking people to buy monthly pass ... on waiting list for almost 1 year now. This is frustrated. I went to local store asking if they rent a parking space but they said many asked already... and answer is no. City of Vaughan needs to help because many people staying in these condos. Very very sad & stressful when your car got towed! If I could give it negative stars I would.First off it’s $300 a month for parking, which in itself is ridiculous. Also to even get a monthly spot there’s a wait list which I’ve been on for months. The wait list is for indoor and outdoor parking which both are still $300.If you don’t have a monthly spot, it’s $30 a day to park.. which is $900 a month!!!Rent is already very high and continues to go up. Since I’ve moved in similar units are now going for $450 more.. elevators during rush hour are always busy be prepared to wait sometimes up to 30minUtilities are also expensive, the building looks pretty but the quality is poor. Made cheap to look good that’s it. The hallway carpets always look dirty now.To enter the garbage room apparently now you have to sign up and pay a fee.. what a joke!I cannot express this enough transit city is just a huge money grab. Everything costs and it’s definitely not cheap or reasonable by any means.

Condo itself is ok-ish. But parking is more expansive than downtown condos. Can you imagine? Smartcentre just flat out refuses to do anything about it.
