In the evening, we decided to dine out and chose Kerala Nook. Our order consisted of kappa biriyani and thalasheri dum biriyani. However, we were disappointed with the quality of the food. The kappa biriyani had excessive gravy and didn't meet our expectations, leaving us feeling it was a waste of money. The biriyani, despite being called so, fell short of our standards as it had chicken mixed with ghee rice. When we inquired about this, one of the receptionists explained that's how they prepared their biriyani. Unfortunately, it didn't justify the price we paid and left us unsatisfied.

order twice from here. the chicken kothu roti was really good. nice and spicy. the malabar parrota is just like how we get in india. service is ok. have to wait for a long time for shawarma. and finally the shawarma turns to be Hopeless. I got excited cos they said its the indian way of shawarma but then it was full of cabbage. Taste yak ! not ordering shawarma again. may be gonna try other dishes.

I am not happy in writing this review. Food was not good. Nobody in our group could find something that deserved recommending to others. Gravies tasted just like a mixture of sauces; chicken & beef. Prices are high when the quality and quantity of the food, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is taken into consideration. I think the prices are high because, the restaurant runs at night, till 5.00am.Service was also not great.Water was served at the end.The table wasn't cleared before we sat, till we asked.Reason might be less number in staff during that time. But, saying what I felt.

It's very disappointing how inconsistent the quality is. I have tried kappa biriyani once and felt it's one of the best places for the same. So I got it again another time, and the quality was really bad. Very disappointed. Too oily, too much masala, and too hot. It's just pieces of kappa and beef mixed in the masala.I have tried snacks from here. It's not bad. But the Kappa Biriyani I got this time was so bad. Not sure if I would try it from this place again. Disappointed.

This is regarding my recent experience at your establishment. While I appreciate certain aspects of my visit, there were a few areas that left me disappointed and room for improvement.Firstly, I must mention that I found the tray of chicken biriyani with a lot of rice and considerably lesser number of chicken pieces than anticipated, especially considering the price paid. It wasn't like this before and I feel that the quality is slowly going down. It would be beneficial to ensure that customers receive a fair and satisfying amount of food for the value they pay, as this greatly impacts their overall experience.Additionally, I was disappointed with the lack of responsiveness after bringing this issue to your notice. Paying attention to these details not only enhances customer satisfaction but also fosters a positive reputation for the establishment. Unfortunately, I felt that my concerns were not adequately addressed.I share this feedback with the intention of providing valuable insight for the betterment of your restaurant.

We ordered a chicken biryani tray for 10 people. We hardly got chicken pieces for 6 people. When we informed them about this they replied that they packed 23 pieces. We only got 15 pieces(max). Our 4 guests ate just biryani rice. This is not the first time we are ordering from this place and I like their biryani. I recommend the kitchen manager to check their kitchen camera before replying to the customer complaint.

I ordered Thalassery chicken biriyani and malabari chicken curry. Just saw the place in Uber which made me crave for the back home taste. Thalassery dum biriyani was average, the chicken they using is not authentic like thallasery style. The malabari chicken curry had froath in it. When i opened the box smelled so bad. I am assuming these guys just heated the curry which was made atleast 3 days before. So disappointed. Needed to discard the whole curry. Feel ashamedto this restaurant management for doing this experience. Never ordering again.

I’m coming here for the 7th time within past 6 months. The dine-in experience reminds that of an old roadside eatery back in Kerala.The quality and taste of food keeps fluctuating but their biryani has a consistent taste. I also love their Chicken Pepper Roast in which I can find a lot of chunky pieces and very less gravy as opposed to many other Kerala restaurants in the GTA.They do need to work on their consistency though. Watching some random Malayalam movie and having chicken biryani at late hours in the GTA is such a nice thing. Noticed so many bad reviews, but it’s not as bad as they look like.I’ve never ordered food from here via Uber Eats so no comments on that.
