EVERYTIME I come to Vancouver I HAVE TO COME HERE. I don’t care if it’s raining cats and dogs outside. Hurricane Katrina could be going on and I wouldn’t even notice cause I would be too engulfed in my delicious fish & chips and curry soup. The staff are SO friendly, and hilarious! The food is amazing, consistent, and delightful. The Halibut is to die for, and the chips are fried to perfection. The oyster Po boy is also amazing! Honestly, I’ve never had anything from here that didn’t make me melt in my seat from sheer joy and sensory overload.

Expect a line up at this spot upon opening till closing - line does go by relatively quick. Limited seating on the patio but they have some expanded shared picnic tables near the parking area. Food here is great - from portions, quality of taste/fish, fresh fry to the coleslaw. The ratio of batter to fish is dominated by the meaty fish but the thin crisp outer layer works well in taste balance. Meals start from $11-> $24 depending on portion and which fish choice. Must go when in the area.

The perfect way to end your day visiting Granville Island. This fish and chips shack is worth the walk over from the main market area. The staff here is super friendly and the food is cooked to order. We got the cod fish and chips basket, and it tasted so fresh and high quality! The portions here are huge so honestly one plate is big enough to share between two people. The dish also comes with an amazing sesame tasting slaw on the side.Don’t skip this place!

This is the legit place for fish and chips. Fresh line-caught fish and amazing flavour at a fair price in a great location. My partner got their grilled salmon sandwich and it was epic, just the right seasoning and sauce. My fried halibut was a good portion and perfectly battered. The fries were incredible, but I into the age-old problem of my girlfriend stealing half of them.Last but not least, the staff were all amazing! The cashier and cooks were the nicest people. Their quality of work proves they care, and I loved their taste in music.

Fish and chips are one of the best in the lower mainland. I had to take off 1 star though because the tartar sauce wasn't quite tangy enough for my liking. If it is a nice sunny day, eating outdoors is a lovely experience as long as the birds leave you alone. Could use some tables with umbrellas though.

One of the best thing you can do it in Vancouver if you want real street fish and chips! Excellent in all senses, seriously! Great quality-price. 10/10.

I recently dined at Go Fish Restaurant on Granville Island and I must say, the fish and chips was amazing! Cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The coleslaw they serve as a side dish was also exceptional with a unique taste that really complemented the fish. However, I was disappointed with the lack of friendliness from the staff. While the food was great, the service left something to be desired. Also, the seating area was outside only, which may not be ideal for some customers.Overall, if you're looking for delicious fish and unique coleslaw, Go Fish Restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Fish batter could have used a little more seasoning, but this was a great place to grab fish and chips and hang out by the water. The salmon tacos were good too.

From the first moment, i got there, I loved everything about that place. From the fries to the fish everything was delicious, even the coleslaw. Honestly, the beer bather around the fish (cod in my case) was good and light. When I said I loved everything, I meant it. Their fires are astonishing, crispy and homestyle like.

Fish and chips were perfect. We got the Cod (they were out of Halibut at 2pm) and it tasted very fresh! We're planning to go again next time to try the Halibut hopefully. We waited for about 1h, including time for our food to get ready.
