Performed an additional ultrasound my doctor didn’t order . ( confirmed with internal specialist)Regardless, I went thru with it as it had already been announced via the receptionist to the waiting room and they had already rebooked my abdominal ultrasound once so my doctor did not receive the results in time despite her assurance that they would be sent ‘ stat’ for my follow up appointment.Interestingly, I wasn’t the only patient that was surprised with a TVS requisition that their doctor didn’t order.The US tech ‘Holly’ was amazing. Thank you for doing what you do.UPDATE : A patient cannot access their imagining reports online from ‘west coast medical’ . In fact, my specialist cannot even access them as of my follow up apt. YesterdayASK YOUR DOCTOR FOR YOUR REQUISITION TO GO TO AN ISLAND HEALTH PARTNER if you want prompt access to your medical file. Go anywhere, but West coast medical I’ve learned. Good luck!

Excellent service and nice set up for COVID. Clearly defined protocols and measures in-place.The Medical Office Assistants (MOAs) were friendly and helpful. The Technician answered any questions I had and made me feel comfortable.(The morning of my appointment I was pulling my hair out because I couldn't find my requisition form! I called them and the told me they had an electronic copy already, all I needed to bring was my Healthcare card...whew!)Service was fast even though they were busy. I waited about 15-minutes.The entrance to 1990 Fort Street is actually facing Foul Bay Road, around the corner from the Thai restaurant. There's a LifeLabs immediately in front of you when you enter the building. Take the elevators on your left.Good health!

Took me 20min for my dr referral appt. There’s paid parking, $2 for 1 hour.. on the surface. Disappointing actually. Lady in font of me took longer on the machine. And it’s not Victoria parking app- it’s yet another app. Last time I had a referral appointment at public locations, and didn’t pay $2 for 30min.. it costed me $40.. nothing like needing treatment and getting ripped off

Terrible experience at this location45 mins after checking in for my appointment, i ask the reception if there is any issues with my appointment.They inform me my technician is not present at the clinic, no timeline as to when he's gonna show up.I wasted 2-3 hours of my time + paid parking on a friday evening. The least you could do is call your customers to inform them.

I dropped off my initial requisition. They lost it. Thankfully, I took a scan of the requisition before dropping it off. Finally got an appointment. Ultrasound was performed. 2 months later, no word from anybody. I called my GP who ordered the ultrasound, but they said they hadn't received any results from West Coast imaging. I called West Coast imaging to let them know, they said that they didn't know what happened, but would send over the results to my gp. Luckily, my GP actually cares and is following up with them directly, but as of right now, still no results from an ultrasound performed in march, and it's nearly june.

Mammogram technician treated me today was excellent. I had a bad experience way before at another place and I was bit scared to take the exam. She was very organized, quick and clearly explained me what I need to do. I was relaxed and all job done so quickly. It took less than ten minutes. I was so happy to have her. I’ll highly recommend that place. I hope she is there all the time.

Worst experience. My wife took an afternoon off work to get an Ultrasound done. She arrived 4 mins past her scheduled appointment time for something she had to book weeks in advance.They told her sorry and that the technician has left and they won't be able to assist her. So then, after holding her bladder for hours, she went to the washroom, only to hear that the receptionist made a mistake and the technician is here ...they were just on break.So then she's trying to chug water so that she can go ahead with the test, only to find out 10 mins later they decide its too busy and she has to reschedule for 2 weeks from now.What kind of Mickey Mouse operation is this clinic running. This was beyond frustrating and a huge waste of time not to mention the work that was required to be booked off to go in the first place.I'm hoping to speak to someone in management for a better explanation as this is ridiculous.

I needed to get an ultrasound, and the process couldn’t have been easier! My doctor sent in a referral and I was booked within the week. The day of my appointment I was called and offered an earlier time (which I really appreciated). All the employees were extremely welcoming, friendly and pleasant!

Lesley, an ultrasound technician, is by far the nicest, most compassionate person I have ever experienced over my sixty plus years. She talked me through step-by-step of each image she took and why. She is a real asset to this location.

Technician was great. Fast. Friendly.But what the heck, I was asked to come in two hrs prior to my appointment because they could squeeze me in earlier. Of course this was great news! Except... I sat there for two hours waiting for my earlier appointment"
