We have been dealing with this store for almost a decade now. At the beginning, the owner was very cautious about recommending anything. He explained to us because he is not a TCM, nor a registered herbalist, he has to be very careful what he says to his customers. He is able to understand in Canada, if you are not a licensed professional, you are not qualified to say things in that profession (both my husband and myself are licensed professionals now retired). That is why licensed profs like us have to hang our license in our office.He told us he has been a Chinese herb trader all his life time and has some basic understanding of Chinese herbs. And he carries a limited spectrum of herbs. Sometimes when we take our prescription from our TCM to gather the herbs from him, he would explain some of the herbs are not allowed to be imported to Canada, or he does carry certain herbs due to its rare usage , things like that. We both found him very reasonable and very honest. Even now we have retired and moved away from Surrey, we will continue getting our TCM prescriptions from him, maybe by Canada Post if we don't have time to drive there. It is because of his honesty and being very straight forward.

Great Chinese Herbal Store tucked inside T&T at Surrey Central Mall.The owner is really nice, honest and very knowledgeable about all of the different products and herbs that he sells. I was looking for a couple things, goji berries being one of the things.When I was looking for the goji berries the owner was helping me and asked if I wanted better quality ones, I said yes, so he showed me another bag, that was still very reasonable in price, but he said much better quality.I like how honest and direct the owner is and how well he knows the products he sells. If you are looking for a place to buy Chinese herbs, this is the best place, and the prices are very reasonable too!
