After some unfortunate miscommunication, they were able to see us. The staff and Dr. were very friendly and supportive, gave us the time we needed to say goodbye.

Been here a couple times. Not happy at all. They emailed me telling me my dog was due for her shots so I booked the apt only to find out they only tested her for heartworm and didn’t actually give her the shots. I then had to come back at a later time. I was quote one price and ended up being more. The front Staff is rude and not very personable. The vet however is nice and patient. They are not upfront with their pricing.Try and be more upfront with pricing. You just saw my dog a week ago and now are charging me for a “check up” should not be the full amount!

THEY KILLED MY DOG. They misdiagnosed 2 of my pets. Both Akitas. One had mange two years ago, they charged me over $3000 for silly tests, she suffered for over a month, and a simple $40 tick cookie solved it. I then stupidly allowed them to diagnose my second Akita three days ago. They told me she had a UTI, charged me $600 and sent her home without tests. I called them yesterday to make a follow up appointment as she grown sicker, they told me they dont have time and wouldnt give me an appointment. She died this afternoon, she had a bladder tumor, a vet in Port hope agreed to rush her in for xrays and had to put her down . This vet is incompetent, i will be seeking legal action against them as well as making a formal complaint to the college of veternarians. Not only are they incompetent but they are uncaring, unreliable and refused to fit my poor girl in for a simple xray. BE WARNED...DO NOT TRUST THIS VET

I've taken my Dogs here for years. I respect their opinions and trust in what they tell me to do. I never found them to pressure me into anything and they've always given me the facts and were honest about my pets health. I highly recommend this Vet. We usually see Dr. Green, however Dr. Teresa Perez and Dr. Stevens have helped my pets in the past and have also been wonderful. Finances can be tough sometimes and vet bills can get expensive. I've always been honest with Dr. Green about what I can afford and he's navigated around what I should do while keeping my pets health as his top priority.

We have a cat and dog being cared for at Newcastle vet clinic. They take excellent care of our fur babies. The Drs and staff are absolutely amazing!! We know they do everything they can to look after our pets and feel safe relying on them for their expertise.Very quick at getting them in for appointments and renewing their meds.We drive 45 minutes to Newcastle but will not let anyone else take care of our dog and cat.

When my cat was suddenly sick they were able to see him quickly. Everyone was very friendly, the vet was amazing and easy to talk to.

This vet is dangerous and uncaring. They will not see patients who they are treating for urgent follow ups, they misdiagnose major life threatening issues, they refuse to make time after they misdiagnose issues regardless of how desperate the pet is for help, their admin staff is rude and uncaring. Their cruel pricing lists and upselling is the only thing they are concerned with as that is what the corp who owns them pushes them to do.They misdiagnosed my dog which led to euthunasia, they refused to even see her for a followup after incorrectly diagnosing her. She left her here to die and wouldnt even squeeze her in when told she was critical.Beware of all NVA corporate owned vets. They have no accountability, clients have zero recourse when they cause harm to your pet, they do not own up to any mistakes. They have no professional protocol or triage policies to ensure proper follow up takes place.The College of Veterinarians cannot make complaints against vets public record, you have no way of seeing the massive complaints other than on google. Please do your research and dont be fooled by the fake positive reviews, look at the one star reviews which tell the real story.They lie in their notes to cover up their mistakes. They cover up for each other if you attempt to get a second opinion on their mistakes as they are owned by the same corp.Newcastle vet has many many similar community complaints. THEY ARE DANGEROUS.NVA website lists locations....stay away from all of them!!

Have been going here for 4 years the always have a smile on their face, and take great care of my pupers not to metiong you can't beat there prices.

Been taking our pups here for over 20yrs. Doctors and staff, are always kind and competent.

Very helpful vet. The people here have been kind and are very caring of your children(furry children). I appreciate everything they have done for our puppy!
