The staff here are really great. Been going here for years. One time I dropped and broke a bottle of wine (oops) and not only did they make me feel better about the situation, but they also didn't make me pay for the broken bottle even when I insisted. They're always super helpful as well. The space is going through a renovation right now so it's a little cramped/less selection but that should be over soon and I'm excited to see how the space turns out!

Paying with cash? Prepare to be scolded by an employee! Was trying to give the cashier 3 toonies to complete the payment after giving them a couple twenties and was told to put the on the counter or else the cashier wouldn’t take them. What???? He scolded me like I was a toddler for paying with MONEY and giving it to him in his hand like a decent human being instead of throwing it on the til. Maybe he felt the need to have a power trip? Show a woman who’s boss? Who knows....

Visiting my best-friend in Charleswood and picked up two bottles of wine from this store. Staff was friendly enough. Was also pleased to find cans of blue 1664 beer too. Most LC's don't stock it.Only gave 3-stars because Manitoba Govt. owns the liquor distribution. This should be owned by private individuals so we have better competition. Instead, they drastically inflate the prices of beer and wine to cover Govt. spending.The staff also enjoy ridiculous pay for what they do. Seriously, It's a min. wage job. Sad, when you hit the stores in USA and see what beer & wine should REALLY cost... Canadians are so ripped off. We'll never see, Buy a bottle of wine & get the 2nd bottle for 5 cents!""

All items I was looking for were in stock. Some even had bonus airmiles.

Walked to the front door and the guy basically locked the door on us @ 7:58 and yelled closed. I brought out my phone and said it’s 7:58 (not closed). He ended up walking away, I saw myself and 4 other Customers turn around and get back into their vehicle. Please change the hours to closes @ 7:58, than I can change my 1 star review to a five.

Medium sized LC, somewhat limited stock, but good selection on spirits and some fancy wines as well as solid table wines. Wish the had more of the Trappist beers but still all he regular cased beers along with a good selection of imports by the bottle.

Pretty good selection of local beer (amongst other things of course). Friendly and helpful staff.
