Shorncliffe Lake Park

Grew up nearby so this place has strong sentimental value. That said, Shorncliffe Lake is a wonderful provincial park! The Booth" is not to be missed for its generous scoops of ice cream!"

Shorncliff, or czar lake as i call it...well kept, quiet with a nice little beach. The commissary has some of the best food around. Lots of parking, just a really nice spot.

Beautiful Spot! Very well maintained, beautiful pictures located around the park on trees. Lots of space for big trailers with full services. Great looking ball diamonds. Group gatherings would be perfect here. Clean bathrooms and an awesome laundry room!

Great canteen with generous portions. Clean place with lots of availability.

If your there for a ball tourney this place is good. If not dont bother. Lake water isnt very clean, the stalls are ok but not much trees, and there is a train that runs through the campground about 20 meters from the stalls.

Great place to gather with friends, first come first serve, unless already booked. Fireplace inside chalet and outside of it.

A very nice little park. Has a couple playgrounds for children. There is a sand volleyball court, a narrow sand beach to the south of the park.There are washrooms, showers, and a washing machine area.There is a hall with kitchen facilities to rent.The both is open 10-9. Good food, lots of flavours of hard ice creams.There are four baseball diamonds as well.Son to be built is a splash/spray park and a new outdoor kitchen area.There is a small museum on site with many interesting historic items, it is open daytimes in the summer months.In July there are swimming lessons offered, and swimming at the beach.There are no game fish in the lake.It is often used for wakeboarding and tubing.Nice little spot. There are private cabins onsite, maybe one could find some to stay in via airbnb or some such.Fun place!

Everything is well maintained. The grass is cut perfectly. Almost every other camp site has a garbage can and a recycling can. The wind blew the empty bottles out but they were picked up every day. The food stand had lots of things to eat. There were menu items that fun to eat and some were even health minded and they all tasted great. I didn't get on the lake but the beach was perfect to sit and watch. The museum was a wonderful eclectic collection of so many things that I want to go back again because I am sure I missed some treasures. I was overwhelmed by the collection. Great place that I hope to come back often.
