I hired Mark from TrueView because his pricing for a home inspection including thermal imaging was competitive. Given this, I was particularly impressed with the level of quality and service I received. Mark took his time, was very thorough, and patiently walked me through all of the issues and recommendations. He stayed for the entire duration of the time we had booked and left no stone unturned. He was also really pleasant to deal with on top of being technically capable. Highly recommend Mark from TrueView!

Did a thorough examination of the house build quality and detailed upcoming repairs. The IR camera option is neat too to find possible hidden defects. Was available short notice at the time we wanted. Very friendly approach. The inspection report is very detailed and was received quickly, helping us finalize our purchase in time.

Mark was very professional in dress and actions on the day of the inspection, which the sellers seemed to appreciate as well. Report was informative and educational for further research and decisions, with actual photos of the property and diagrams to explain. Mark was also reachable by email afterwards with follow up questions. I will highly recommend to friends who are looking to purchase or sell. Overall cost was reasonable and great insurance as a condition of sale on such a large potential purchase.

I called Mark on a whim for a really odd job.One of my cats likes to go into the rafters of our basement, but always comes out for food. This time she didn’t come out and it had been a couple hours and she wasn’t visible in her spot like she usually is.Fearing the worst— either she got hurt or got stuck— I called TrueView and explained what happened and asked if thermal imaging could help find her. Mark was SO kind and came out to scan our basement for her and, believe it or not, it worked!She was not hurt, just snoozing deep within the ceiling.Can’t thank him enough for humouring me and helping us make sure she got out safely!

He provided a very detailed report on his findings and used the latest in tools and technology to assess the property. He made the process stress free, comfortable and easy. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a quality home inspection. (Not to mention that he even took our last minute appointment on a Sunday!)
