I would give 100 stars if possible!!! My 8 lb yorkie Rascal had a snapped off dewclaw, and my vet was out of town for 4 days. I called countless vets for help, all were too busy..except for Virgil Animal Hospital. Emma was the most kindest lady on the phone. I was able to take him in within a couple hours, andwas in and out in no time!! They were able to fix the problem with ease and for a very reasonable price!! God bless you all!!! Highly recommend these wonderful people!!!

This is the veterinarian experience you have dreamed of. We have a large pup that has a few issues and Dr. Nichols was thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all our questions. Pricing is very affordable and won't break the bank !!

Dr Nicols was instantly responsive to sending a prescription for our dog Benny which I let lapse. I understand he’s the new owner of the clinic. He is raising the already high standards of a vet clinic we already loved.

I took my beloved Kitty, Charlie, here as an emergency patient. We had no idea what was wrong with him as he wasn’t eating and he wasn’t going to the bathroom.Dr Emily and her staff were so good to him. Charlie was there for 3 nights and they didn’t gouge me financially with unreasonable prices. Dr. Emily updated me frequently on how he was doing and what our next steps were. She was filled with compassion and made me feel that my Charlie was safe with her. She sent me photos and I just felt I needed to post that there is an animal hospital in Virgil that you can trust with a doctor who truly cares about your pet.Thank you so much Dr. Emily.

Dr. Nichols is the best! He's been the vet for our dogs for several years now and it's great to see that he has his own clinic now. I called the other day after my dog had an incident that caused us great concern. I left a message, and Dr. Nichols called me back and took his time to address those concerns. I certainly appreciated his care and patience, he's a great veterinarian!!!

Dr. Nichols is by far one of the most wonderful vets in the Niagara Region! He treated my ragdoll cat years ago with such compassion and empathy that when we found out he had taken over this clinic we had to return.

Dr. Nichols and his staff are absolutely amazing. Unfortunately yesterday we had to put our dog down and the care and compassion that not only Dr. Nichols but also his staff had during this very difficult time was so comforting. I knew Marley was very comfortable when he took his last breath and I am thankful I got to be there with Marley through this transition. I am so thankful for kind and compassionate veterinarians. I will never entrust our dogs to anyone but Dr. Nichols he is the best of the best. Thank you so very much.

Our morkie is grateful to be a patient! We recently switched to this vet as we just moved to town in the last few years.What a great place. Dr. Nichols is excellent; knowledgeable, kind and unrushed. Also clearly on top of recent studies and industry trends.

I would highly recommend Dr. Nichols if you’re looking for a new veterinarian. He is incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain our options and expectations. I was also impressed that he fully assessed our dog and was not afraid to check him out as some vets are (he’s a big dog). He was very honest and transparent and we did not feel pressured or forced down one path. Overall, amazing informed consent and you can always tell when someone has genuine love of their profession. On top of that, great atmosphere and friendly staff.
