Personal Touch Catering

Personal Touch catered our outdoor wedding in August (on one of the hottest days of the year) and we've received nothing but complements on the food. The late night pouting truck was by far a favorite. The service was amazing, they even put up with our free range chickens!Highly reccomend!

I had Personal Touch Catering provide the food for my wedding at Millbrook Cathedral and I was very dissappointed in the food. The chicken was dry, the broccoli salad was SO dry, the mushrooms I ordered had no seasoning on them, and my guests said they ran out of salmon. The coctail hour appetizers looked like cheap grocery store food. At dinner, I only took a few bites and went and cried in the bathroom because I was so embarrassed that my guests were eating this food. They also forgot the shrimp I ordered for cocktail hour which was so important for me to have. They said they left it on the back of a truck and they tried to ask me if I still wanted it served at dinner and I said no for food safety reasons. They then tried to ask my mother in law if she wanted the shrimp and of course she said no. I am still waiting for a refund cheque for the shrimp but honestly I think I deserve a partial refund for everything. I am providing two stars because the poutine at the end of the night was good. Overall I would not recommend this company. I hate writing reviews like this but I just want to spare another couple the disappointment we had to deal with. I know people are just doing thier best but I feel so ripped off. I look back at the experience and it did take away from our special day. I am sure they will reply with something here but this is 100% the truth from my perspective.

I want to say a big thank you to Personal Touch Catering for an amazing job at my daughters wedding this weekend. The food was great, and the staff was helpful, friendly and very professional. The sliders and fries in the evening were a big hit.I also want to express my thanks for you accommodating us last year when we had to cancel the week before the reception due to new covid restrictions. knowing that we could rebook was a big relief for the bride and family.You guys rock!!!!

Personal Touch Catering, catered our wedding dinner October 2021.-They were great about rescheduling to 2021 after we had to post pone in 2020 due to pandemic and they were good about adjusting our quotes/payments as our numbers changed.-I felt like I asked a lot of questions via emails, I’d suggest the first quote be more informative to what it exactly includes (wine glasses? Water or other drinks? Salt and pepper? Etc.)-I asked to customize the wedding package we chose to our liking and they allowed that and I made sure on every new quote it said the proper menu items.-Unfortunately the company did mix up, and we did not end up actually being served the items we had ordered.We ordered Caesar salad, we were served spring mix salad.We ordered garlic mashed potatoes, we were served roasted potatoes.The vegetables were correct, and the chicken was correct!Regardless we didn’t get the items we ordered, dinner was still pretty good tasting, the chicken was the best part & I definitely recommend the breaded chicken!The staff were friendly and the dinnerware was nice!

Personal Touch Catering just catered our wedding in July. They displayed such a top notch level of service and were very attentive to all the small details. All evening long we heard our guests talking about the food and how fantastic it was. To top the night off they served the gourmet grilled cheese bar, I highly recommend this because it was so delicious!! Thank you Kelly and your team for such fantastic food, we highly recommend you and your team!!

This company catered our wedding four days ago and the food was absolutely phenomenal. I got multiple compliments about the food after speaking with only a couple of guests. There was 0 issues with service and they were extremely affordable... My wife and I are both extremely happy with how smoothly things went and how delicious everything was!

Personal Touch catered our wedding this past October. The meal was incredible!!!! Every single one of our guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about the meal and the staff! There was such a large variety to choose from, they accommodated our guests with dietary restrictions (who absolutely LOVED their dinner!) and the staff was so wonderful throughout the evening! Everyone wanted the recipe for the potatoes! :) Thank you so much for being apart of making our day perfect!

Absolute horrible experience with Kevin and April - save yourself the hassle and stress and use another catering service. Things had started off fine until I had to move my wedding date - they would not offer a refund of the etransfer payment I made despite the circumstances which sucked but I understood. A deal was a deal and they said I could use the credit towards another event.Once I contacted them again for another event I was hosting, I waited over a week to hear back from them and not because they returned my call but because I ring them again. They advised that they couldn't offer their services on the date of my party and that I would need to change the date of my event to use their services - still no offer of a refund despite now not being about to honour the new date. Extremely frustrating. Once they had agreed to a date, they denied that I had made a deposit of $800 as they could not find my file or record of payment. Good thing I kept a screenshot of that payment otherwise they were taking that deposit for themselves. As I followed up with the team to finalize detail it took them a month to get back to me - their excuse you might ask? they were on vacation for 10 days, but no mention as to why they were ignoring me for the 20 days prior to their vacation - and I had no intention of letting an $800 deposit go to waste. About a week out from the event date, I receive an email asking about what choices I had made for the menu - despite having told them a month prior. As I picked up the order - I noticed the pumpernickel bread I order was from a grocery store, still in the grocery store casing that said made fresh in store!" they didn't even pretend to make it in house. Just wanted to say thank you to personal Touch Catering services!The food was delicious and had nothing but compliments about it from the guests.The servers were great aswell!It was a pleasure working with April and Kevin!
